Exactly 1 year ago I drew this drawing and next to it is the one I'm currently working on. The improvement is sometimes so difficult to grasp because it always seems to be a constant flat line but when you actually compare it side to side it it becomes so clear. I had 0 understanding of color and backgrounds back then and now I'm able to draw nature itself. Of course there is still a long way to go but this feels like progress. Thought I'd share this one maybe it'll help someone who feels stuck to show what is possible with a little bit of dedication and practice.
