The monsoon is about to arrive all over India. My favorite season.

Although the monsoon isn't typically the best time for safaris or birding, aside from a few specific species and locations, it is the time when the forests truly come alive. In every corner of India’s wilderness, life forms thrive in the lush green monsoon forests.

As I write this, I am conspiring for a monsoon trip. My goal isn't to cover birds or mammals, and technically, it isn't even a herping trip.

Mushrooms have always fascinated me; they add an extra charm to the monsoon greens across India, yet they remain largely unexplored. Mostly, I have seen fungi and moss-covered logs used in bird hides for creating beautiful frames, but mushrooms themselves can be a fascinating subject to explore and photograph.

And, let’s be brutally honest: what more does a soul need than to walk through a beautiful, dense forest and look for the life forms we generally ignore? For me, the exploration itself is the most satisfying part of wildlife photography.

When I started birdwatching long time back, photography was a very important aspect for me. Until I clicked a good photo of a species, I was never truly satisfied, and I kept chasing that species.

But over the years, things have changed a lot. I realized that the most important part of the whole process for me was finding the species , the trip, the adventure, and the joy of tracking it down. I definitely enjoy looking at good photos taken by other people, but personally, the exploration part is what I live for.

I started exploring nature through birds, but now insects, frogs, snakes, tigers, and even mushrooms excite me equally.

I would recommend everyone to keep exploring. Even a walk through your local park can reveal so many life forms you never knew existed. And eventually, I feel you start appreciating everything ,not just the birds or the tigers.

I have explored many Indian forests and habitats, tried to cover birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals but never really cared about the aquatic ecosystems much in the past.

Going forward I really want to cover it but I am not sure if any of my audience would like to see me uncovering aquatic species or not .

What do you think would you enjoy watching a vlog on an under water ecosystem?

Let me share a piece of my mind with you.

I think it is necessary for you to know and understand why I make videos on youtube.

Initially what I thought to do just for the sake of documenting my travels and sighting later on made me realise that social media can be a very good tool to get jobs done in a good way .

How?
Well most of you including me are living a life away from nature and our true self . We humans are brainwashed such a way that we think nature is a seperate entity from us . We complain the heat waves and extreme weathers but never thought of digging deeper what causes it .

I feel this channel helps handful of viewers I have make and feel a connection with nature and break the stereotypes. For an example snakes are bad let's get rid of them.

Unless we feel the same sympathy that we feel towards another human being for the wild animals this world is very much heading towards a devastating future. Even if Elon musk makes mars a livable planet what is the future of earth?

Well let's break it down even further.

You might think what's the point of saving earth when we will barely live 80 , 90 years at max what it has to do with us anyways let's live wrecklessly .

Well if that is so then what's the point running in a rat race anyways if we don't get to experience what we are earning.

Life I feel is a complex game. Maybe a matrix. With everyone a very limited time in this planet , let's say the playground earth. Who would not like to play the game in a bigger and better field ?

Every single human who cares about nature can actually make a change . A good one. And have fun at the same time.

I don't know if this channel will ever grow big or not , I do not have a sponsor , I do not have endless funds to produce videos either but I hope I can make you feel for every living being and be sympathetic about them. If I can do so my job is done in this planet and purpose is served with this channel.

Wildlife exploration is not just clicking a good photo and definitely not harming wildlife for a good frame. When your time in this planet is limited what will you do with all those likes once you are gone?

Just enjoy your privilege of this human birth explore, live and be wild. Take a quest and experience freedom.
