After like 12 years of paying annually an extra $40 fee for a CA Legacy license plate (see below video), I’ve decided to go back to the regular California license plate. It’s the frugal thing to do, plus I never liked the random legacy license plate number they assigned me anyway. If you like the look of it and are willing to pay the extra $40 a year, it’s still worth it. However, I’m perfectly fine now with the normal license plate, and not having to pay extra money to the government every year!
