I received a strike from someone on YouTube because the content I recorded overlapped with his. Specifically it was about game where mission was in progress (RDR2 benchmark), and cutscenes in that game were the same in both his video and mine. Since his video was older, he issued a strike against me, claiming it was his material, as if I had taken it from him, even tho I didn’t. My video had my MSI OSD, and ofc I played the game myself.

There are a few more videos where our content overlaps slightly where primary my videos are older, as well as with a couple of other channels which is crazy... I hope yt will fix this... Anyway you will probably end up reading this message since I can’t contact you on YouTube otherwise.

So my question is should I issue a strike against you in the same way you did to me and potentially find more videos to take down your channel? Don’t worry, I won’t do that.

I tried to dispute your strike unsuccessfully, and luckily I have a contact on the yt who helped, and we’ve already attempted to resolve it.

So I willl give you a chance to fix this before I take further action. I won’t publicly name you, but if you don’t respond within 14 days, I will be forced to take the steps I have already mentioned. You have my Discord and email listed on my channel, and I will respond to your message there.
