Dave Hewlett is an independent blues/rock artist based out of central Pennsylvania. His early influences were Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and especially Eddie Van Halen. As time went on, Dave became fond of Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Mayer. His most recent album “Home”, is very much a representation of these musicians combined, but with Dave’s own touch.

Dave is also the lead guitarist for independent Christian artist, The Ally J Band. His most notable work with them can be found on “Trust in You” and “Jesus Shine Through”. During his time in the band, he has played on the same stage as Christian artist Ben Fuller twice. His work can also be found on tracks released by Judah Creed Records, including “No Way” and “Remind Me” by Anthony Morris.
