Next up in the Warframe Builds A to Z series was Excalibur. I already touched on this in the video, but the more I think about it, the more convinced I become:
How can Excalibur be both incredibly strong and incredibly outdated at the same time?
He benefits massively from modern additions like Melee Arcanes and newer mods, yet around 60% of his kit is still complete dead weight.
The only explanation I've come up with is that his real strength was always tied to his 4th ability. Maybe he was never a particularly well-designed Warframe in the first place.
Because can you really call a frame well-designed when 99% of players would happily delete his first three abilities? Personally, I can't.
And yet, that one usable skill is enough to make him one of the strongest melee-focused frames in the game.
At this point, it's probably fair to just call him Exalted Bladibur.
After reading the comments on my Equinox video (link below in case you want to check it), I’ve noticed something really interesting:
Some people say Maim Nuke is the ONLY thing Equinox has going for her. Others say hybrid/form-swapping builds are where the frame actually becomes fun. And then there are the true chaos enjoyers running the weirdest setups imaginable.
So now I’m curious:
Is Equinox actually restricted to Maim Nuke… or are other playstyles genuinely viable too?
I’ve seen arguments from both sides:
“Maim is her only good ability.” “Hybrid builds are her true identity.” “Night form is underrated.” “You can make almst anything work on Equinox.”
I didn’t say this clearly in the video, but I think Chroma is one of the weirdest cases in Warframe right now.
On paper, he’s insane: – Tanky – Huge damage scaling – Squad utility – Even credit farming
And yet, almost nobody plays him.
So I’m curious:
Do you think Chroma is actually underrated, or just outdated? What would YOU change in his kit to make him feel modern? And be honest, when was the last time you used him outside Profit-Taker?
One extra thing I didn’t go deep into: Health tanking right now feels kinda awkward unless you fully commit to it (Arcane Persistence, Status immunity, etc.). Do you think DE should buff this playstyle, or is it going to stay as niche as it is now?
