Coherent Pulse (my latest labor of love) ranked 3rd overall in the Game Jam for which it was created. I've been working on a v2.0 for the game, which addresses feedback from the jam and adds significant content. Version 2.0 is published and one can play it today!
I also re-shot the trailer. The old trailer was a bit embarrassing & performing poorly. This one is shorter, much more action.
I am thinking about shooting a Godot Dev video to see how that goes. It would be about how one can leverage the editor_description property of a Node to do some cool stuff and avoid overhead in some situations.
Here is a behind-the-scenes look at a game I have been working on for Untitled Game Jam 126. This one is a solo project. 3 days left before the deadline for this. I've already achieved quite a bit but I hope the submitted product becomes something I can be proud of. Made with Godot Engine 4.6.2.stable.
Oh I almost forgot to mention, this game has a surprise guest star voice actor. You'll never guess who it is.
As it turns out, I'm no longer working on a game for Godot Wild Jam 92, so I may take a second look at some unfinished projects in my spare time instead.
I was listening to some music this afternoon and, unexpectedly, I came up with a GreenCastleJams vol. 4 playlist. Give it a listen, I think it is quite good. It contains some high-energy songs I've always liked, good VGM remasters, and a couple new tracks I recently discovered.
(and yes, the playlists are still called GreenCastleJams. Legacy holdover.)
Worked on a painting today. Had some cold brew iced tea. Redownloaded Mega Man 11 - which I've never actually beaten, despite the fact my keychain is a Mega Man 11 Robot Master. Take a wild guess which one.
Not a whole lot's going on in my life right now. I'll probably do my taxes sometime.

Game Jams: there's a couple of them next month that I'm looking at.
The Artists Tavern Game Jam is from June 15 to the 22nd,
and/or Platformer Jam #2 from the 22nd to the 29th.
Playing Castlevania Advance Collection in my spare evenings and quite enjoying it.
