It's been a really busy week for me this week. First I had a three-day visit with my niece and nephew from Monday through Wednesday. Then on Thursday my best friend wanted to hang out and catch up. As a result, I've had barely any time to record this week. So sorry about the lack of an F-Zero 99 Classic Mode video this morning. I had enough recorded beforehand to last most of this week...except for that.

Last weekend on his birthday stream, ‪@GamesPerJustin‬ mentioned he was going to a local gaming convention. Well, I punched my own ticket to said convention as well, so I went with him. I've been gone since morning, and my latest Castlevania 2 Randomizer video was still saving when I left. So unfortunately I'll have to push that back until next Saturday night. Sorry, guys.

This past weekend has been a busy one. Between the Golden Wildcard Salmon Run, the Tangle & Whisper Festival in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds (video on that next Saturday), and my latest Sunday Longplay of Polygirl's Adventure 3, I barely had time to record my Sunday Combo Randomizer. It's saving now and will be up about 4 hours behind schedule. Sorry, guys.

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope 2025 was a good year for you all, and now to share a couple plans for my channel in 2026:

In the longform department, not much will be different. Still grinding F-Zero 99 in the mornings, still doing nightly randomizers, still two main playthrough series in the afternoon (one on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the other on Tuesday and Thursday). Though I have a couple changes in mind. I just did my first standalone NEStroid randomizer, so I wanted to add that to the rotation, probably switching between that and Project Base on Thursdays. Also, I want to play some more longer retro games (ones too long to fit into a single Sunday Longplay video, like an RPG game) for my weekday afternoon series.

As for Shorts, my Time Attack shorts for F-Zero 99 and NWC NES Edition seem to be doing well for the most part, and I'm looking at other games I could Time Attack like FAST Fusion, Mario Kart World, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds or maybe even going back to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (which I played on this channel years ago here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6kYt... ) and doing some time attacks there. I also got an idea from a recent comment on my Sunday Longplay of the Zelda 2 fan remaster (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5-dK...) for a new Shorts series, which I call "Sunday Longplay Supplementals", where I put together more condensed walkthrough guides from my Sunday Longplays (and even some of my longer weekday series). Going back to the Zelda 2 Remastered example, some examples of Supplementals could be like "All Gold Slime Locations", or "All Heart Piece Locations" or even no-damage boss guides.

Last night's randomizer video has been stuck in processing for over 6 hours now. I'll re-upload it and publish it next Thursday night.

Also, personal note, I got sick right after Thanksgiving (probably from my cousin's overly affectionate dog jumping on my lap and licking my face), so sorry if I've been a little scatterbrained this past week.
