🎪🎪My first card show🎪🎪

Last weekend I ran a stand for my TCG at the Card-e-Diem show in London! Teaching people to play the game, spreading the word of the project and meeting some fans, it was honestly the most fun day ever!

Thanks to everyone who came down, my friends who helped out and to the event organisers! It was a lot of work but this has made me realise how much work I’ve put into this game, and feeling like it’s paying off!

On March 14th 2026 I'll be at Card-e-Diem in London with a booth showcasing my new TCG, play testing with some fellow nerds, meeting some of you guys and filming the whole adventure for a TCG From Scratch Episode!

✍️ ✍️ A month of Artwork ✍️ ✍️

After finishing the my TCG's starter decks, I’m starting 2026 with a pretty daunting task - making a 100+ card booster set!

This much artwork would normally take me 6 months, but I don’t want to wait that long to have my game ready! So with a fairly quiet January, I’ve set myself a new challenge: Design 1 new card every day for a month!

If you follow me on Patreon you’ll know I’ve been posting each new card day by day, head over to see for yourself! I’ll reveal them all in TCG From Scratch episodes as I go, but here are some favourites so far...

Day 2: 🦈 🦈 ANIMECH TURBO-SHARK 🦈 🦈 (if you’ve seen my old Evolvers TCG you’ll know this guy! The start of a cool, cross-realm archetype!)

Day 4: 🦛 🦛 ANIMECH TURRIPOPOTAMUS 🦛 🦛 (the fire realm and probable boss defender for the animechs!)

Day 7: 🪵 🪵TOT 🪵 🪵 (the stage 1 of a new Evolver line, the mystical ‘Totemos’ of the forest realm!)

Day 10: 🎋 🎋 ULTEMO TOTEMO 🎋 🎋 (The stage 4 Totemo, more of these stackable sidekicks coming soon!…)

Day 1: 🧿 🧿 THE ILLUSIONER 🧿 🧿 (a creepy spirit from the Sky realm)

Day 12: 🥣 🥣 A BIG BAG OF OATS 🥣 🥣 (something to do with Once-A-Turn abilities, dunno what yet)

So episode 3 of Making a TCG from Scratch should have come out yesterday. Basically I’ve been sick all weekend and unable to edit half of the video - I could’ve uploaded something half finished but I’d rather quality over quantity and get the best video possible out at the end of this week instead!

I’m still planning to upload episodes every 2 weeks and your feedback on parts 1 & 2 are keeping me so motivated to make this series as good as it can be, so apologies for the wait but part 3 is coming!

8 years ago I made a YouTube video showing 12 trading cards I’d made in my bedroom. Each of these cards came from a planet in a fictional solar system I called ‘the Chaos Galaxy’. I hadn’t shown these cards to anyone at the time, I didn’t know if anyone would watch the video, or if anyone would like it or even get it, but creating these characters and this game was all I wanted to do.

Since that video was uploaded I’ve started and graduated university, had 3 full time jobs, moved house 6 times, made some of my closest friends, started and ended relationships and been through both the happiest and darkest periods of my life. One thing has remained consistent in the last 8 years though, the Chaos Galaxy.

Nothing in the world means more to me than this game, but today, I’ve decided to temporarily press pause on it. Don’t worry, I’ll never stop making trading cards, but for the past year I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump - and today marks the beginning of something new.

Over the next few months I’ll be working on a brand new game, documenting my entire process of making a TCG from scratch. The art, the card types, the rules, the lore, all of it. Having made a start on this new game I’m already feeling refreshed and my excitement for making TCGs has been reignited. It’s not the end of the Chaos Galaxy, I don’t know how long this new project will last but once *whatever the new game is called* is done, the Chaos Galaxy will be stronger as a result.

Here is the new list of which cards you can and can’t use in your galaxy as of May 12th 2024!

Cards are either:
🚫🚫 Banned 🚫🚫 (0 copies allowed in a galaxy)
1️⃣1️⃣ Half Banned 1️⃣1️⃣ (1 copy allowed per galaxy)
❇️❇️ Unbanned ❇️❇️ (2 copies allowed per galaxy)
📝📝Errata’d📝📝 (the card’s text has been edited from its previous printing. 2 copies allowed in a Galaxy)

This banlist should even the playing field between the planets, I only ban cards if I feel I really need to but apologies if your favourite cards got hit! Head over to the Chaos Galaxy TCG to rant about my choices! 🤪
