Hi. I am Crolister - master of pwnage! I'm an adult that is very into retro gaming. If you're new to this channel, here's what to expect: various video game showcases from actual gameplay to hobbyist things like how to draw characters. I will do thoughts on certain game news topics too. I will try to upload at least one thing weekly.
These hashtags will give you an idea on what to expect in question!
#gaming #retrogaming #nintendoswitch #nintendoswitch2 #arcadegames #namco #pacman #arcadearchives #pokemon #pokémon #megaman #capcom #nintendo #crashbandicoot #spyro #supersmashbros #smashbros #art #artist #hobbyist
The rights to these games are owned by their respective creators. I am a casual player playing for sport. Unless I say otherwise, my actual performance in these games may vary. Everything I draw in art is freehand. Also, I made this channel before I knew what "longplay" actually means. It's not a longplay if it has commentary.
Enjoy your time! See ya in my vids!

There are two things going on today. One: Father's Day. Two: the summer solstice. (The first day of summer) I drew this picture of Barton Jaw Feraligatr hugging his Totodile boys - Moby & Triton. (For those of you that don't do DA: Moby is the one on your left with the shoes & Mystic Water. Triton is the one on your right with the ducky hat.) Barton is far from being what my father was like... He was all bad news! I really don't like to talk about my father. Chester Villains (Wolfgang Ear) also wanted me to draw a picture for him for summer solstice. I'll come out with that later today.
My next LP to go public tomorrow will be Cyber Commando - another Namco arcade game on ACA2. The first part of Pokémon BD/SP that I promised will go up on Wednesday. I also got a treat from my mother on Amazon that I will do in an upcoming plan for a video. (Hint: I questioned about it in my Mewtwo figure modeling video!)
My computer has been running better lately as I watched & listened to some useful technical tidbits videos on how to help a computer run better. You may be able to tell in the two mentioned upcoming videos! I was amazed with how better my laptop's now running. I'll look forward to sharing more vids.
Okay. I'll see you guys very soon.

So! Did you see the Nintendo Direct yesterday!? That was even more disappointing than the one back in September. Safe to say. That Direct was proof that the Switch 2 is in it specially for third-party games.
The biggest fans of Nintendo games are crying & kicking about the Direct's announcements as if they don't understand that games are not all around them. I was honestly not surprised that this Direct was a solid F by how worth the wait it was. The biggest announcement was Kingdom Hearts 4 coming to NS2 on the day of the other consoles - & you all know how I feel about Sora somehow getting into Smash!!!
The Zelda Ocarina of Time remake that was previously leaked is a cool idea that we can look to later this year. But no gameplay - only a teaser. The only other Nintendo games in it that we didn't already know about were Xenoblade Genesis & Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. Really? Yeah.
Literally the rest of the Direct was third-party games & reiterations or updates of games we already knew about. That's what you guys get for over-hyping.
The point is... Nintendo don't need to focus on their own IPs anymore. They realized when the Wii U failed that third-party support matters when a gamer is picking out a gaming console. The original Switch wasn't capable of a lot of those games - whereas the NS2 is. Some of the NS2 ports even have the Nintendo exclusive controls.
I do agree that the NS2 has a poor exclusive lineup at present - a lineup that will remain poor for quite a while. The reason for that is because 4K games take longer to make. The biggest Nintendo "fans" on YouTube are impatient crybabies. I'm so glad I stick with retro gaming because the rage about gaming today is beyond tolerance. I'm sure 2027 will be a better year for gaming.
I have been watching videos about Rhythm Heaven games before. They seem pretty fun. I might want to look to what Groove has to offer in full. It has modes that the older games didn't have. They also brought back older games as multiplayer battle games in it. That Switch title could be a look-at as a music fan.
To summarize: don't hype up for Nintendo Directs ever again if you're not in it for third-party games. Third-parties matter nowadays. MORE THAN EVER.
I'm sure some more updates will come in or around September. Remember that I am a retro gamer. Some of my preferred games are actually third-party. After all - we got new Mega Man & Spyro games in 2027! I'm not even going to bother making a thoughts video for Summer Game Fest announcements for this year because it was mostly a no-show.
My next LP is Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins from the Game Boy. Look forward to that on Friday. IDK if I'll have a video on Monday next week or not. Drawing vids are going back to Friday from here.
See ya'.

Like I said - June is to be a big one for gaming!
I haven't watched the Summer Game Fest livestream yet as of this typing. I just didn't think that whole three hours would have anything that would appeal to me. But we do have an Xbox showcase coming soon. Maybe Spyro 4 will be announced in that. It's possible according to an insider!
More importantly as a Switch 2 owner: there is strain that the long-awaited general Nintendo Direct is to air presumably on Tuesday. Nintendo MUST make this one a flourish instead of a whimper as they went three-fourths a whole year without one of these - a problem which the previous one in September was more of a whimper. They did promise that they will have a great lineup of games to make up for pricing along with mandatory price increases. (The NS2 going up to 500 dollars is still nothing compared to the price increase of the Steam Deck!)
There is only one Nintendo game at present that has no release date confirmation - Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave. There is no doubt that this will be involved in the alleged presentation. I also heard that a remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is apparently in the works as a Zelda 40th celebration. This is still just a rumor.
One thing that can be ruled out from what to expect in this Direct is a new 3D Mario game. Insiders of sorts have strained that the next Mario game for the Switch 2 is nowhere near close to ready for reveal. Nintendo just wanted to give Donkey Kong & Yoshi some special recognition in their own new games. Fair. It's not ALL about Mario just 'cuz he's the mascot of gaming!
There will be third-party games in the presentation - of course. I'm hoping Spyro 4 can be day & date like other recent third-party games have been on NS2. I'm sure it'll be a Game-Key Card...
So... what could the "before we go" announcement be? Well... I talked before about a rumor last month from KiwiTalks that SSB NS2 would come out in 2027. We could see THAT in the presentation in the event that this statement is true. We don't technically know how long the game's been in development for. We don't know if any multitasking was done with Kirby Air Riders when that game was near done. Again - that's a rumor that should be taken with a massive grain of salt. But if it is a thing...
I wanted to do a Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl LP as my second LP of a Pokémon main game on this channel. Looks like I'll be doing a Torterra playthrough. Literally everyone that voted on that poll except one voted Turtwig. Fair. I started with Chimchar in my original BD/SP playthroughs on the original Switch. My next planned LP - however - is Super Mario Land 2: The 6 Golden Coins.
I am also going to do the next SSB how-to-draw on Monday instead of Friday so that I have time to plan out my thoughts on the Direct video if anything good is in it. I would hate to distract people on the day of the Direct as it comes without talking about it at least in a post.
So... yeah! Hope you're excited for info! Just don't hype up too much. I know Nintendo's going to get all backlash literally possible if the Direct is a lame one again. You never know what will come in these.
See you on Monday.

The attached image was made for youtube.com/@wolfgangear6223 in case he didn't already see on DA. He asked me to draw Chester Villains & his brother Jesse meeting Crolister with some of his friends at a summer camp site. Hope this is good. (I know it will be.)

May comes to an end after today. June is always an exciting month for events in gaming. The Summer Game Fest should be a big week even on the Nintendo side this year. There is an inevitable chance that a Direct will air during that week. But it might be a Partner Showcase. Don't hype too much!
I am currently playing a few retro games that I feel like I can do well enough for YouTube LPs amid the NSO Nintendo Classics apps to tide my channel over until I can get more Namco arcade games from Arcade Archives to play on my NS2. (That I can play acceptably) For example: I have a LP of the Game Boy game Super Mario Land ready to go tomorrow. See you there.
The latest Namco arcade game to come to ACA is Ace Driver - yet ANOTHER racing game like Pole Position in a way! (Still not the last one!) We need to get the Namco Classic Collection arcade games. Those are where the Arrangement games are from. Would it also hurt to at least do Tekken eventually?
I am also still doing the SSB drawing challenge where I do the tutorials of freehand drawing Super Smash Bros. characters every week. I have about ten remaining! We'll be in August once I do the last one.
I wish everyone supporting me a good summer to come! Enjoy the picture of some of the students from Sprouting Seeds Pokémon Academy walking home after their final day at school for the semester. (Unicorn Fairy already posted this on her community page. She has my permission to share my pictures from DA.)
I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Shout out to Pac-Man today! Some of you know I'm the resident Namco arcade fanatic. (For the most part) I've been familiar with Pac as well as other Namco arcade titles since I was an infant. I wish fans a good Pac-Man Day!
The official Pac-Man YouTube channel also has a new cartoon series called Pac-Man Snack Breaks that I'm sure some of you may have heard of. That debuted today. The cartoon in question is where the new shoes are from.
I have no planned video for Monday in recognition of Memorial Day. I do have another Namco LP in Super World Court to go up on Wednesday... although an unforeseen issue kinda ruined it a little.
There have been rumors from credible insiders that a Nintendo Direct will air "by mid-June" during the Summer Game Fest period - as I called. There is no word - however - if it's the long-awaited general Direct or another Partner Showcase. You'll never know with how things have been going lately! I'll try to stay optimistic until confirmations are given. We have to wait a couple more weeks...
Just keeping us updated on my channel activity. I'll come out with more content up ahead. See you soon.

Happy Mother's Day. Make sure to do something nice for your Meema. This year's picture on the matter from me is Lapis Grille hugging her kids - Tommy & Kenny - on her lap. I have a plan to make a Nintendo news/speculation video that I'll try to get out on Wednesday. There has been quite a lot going on recently - like the console price going up in September as well as a new Star Fox game being confirmed. There's also a rumor that the next Super Smash Bros. game could come out next year! I have one more Pokémon FRLG video tomorrow about catching the legendaries. Hope you enjoy the picture. See you very soon. My mother is awesome. <3

I just need you guys to know that I have no video in advance ready for Monday (tomorrow). An unforeseen delay stopped me from having my next part of Pokémon FRLG ready by then. I'll try to have it ready on Wednesday. My family's been down with seasonal hay fever. I feel okay now.

Happy Easter Sunday. This year's Easter picture from me is of Yoshi playing Easter Bunny. Both are involved with eggs. It makes sense. Enjoy.
One of my Easter presents is a Super Mario Galaxy Movie shirt. I may watch the movie when I get a chance. Just think having a shirt for it before I saw it is a little funny. The movie reviewed horribly by Rotten Tomatoes & Metacritics as the predecessor did. But you need to listen to the fans. Not the haters. The movie has broken box office records already as expected. Only way to know if something's good or bad is to sample it for yourself. It'll differ from person to person. :)
Pokémon Fire Red pt. six goes live tomorrow. I've been tired in real life lately. Must be the weather change. Happy Easter again. I'll come out with more content as I do.
