THE EGO LIVES IN FEAR

• Predicts danger
• Analyses & overthinks
• Monitors & controls
• Compares & judges
• Pushes away what feels bad
• Clings to what feels good
• Lives in the past & future
• Lost trust in the body

THE SELF LIVES IN THE BODY

• Lives through the body
• Feels & senses
• Instinct & intuition
• Emotions move & release
• Natural regulation
• Truth of the moment
• Always for your highest good
• Seeks balance, coherence & alignment

WHY EVERYTHING CAN START TO FEEL DANGEROUS

• The ego tags normal sensations as dangerous.
• Attention increases. Amplification increases.
• Old maps are activated.
• Predictive processing kicks in.

NORMAL BECOMES THREATENING

HEALING IS TEACHING THE EGO THE BODY IS SAFE AGAIN

1. RETURN GENTLY

Walk the ego back to the body slowly, like a frightened child.

• Short visits.
• Never overwhelm.

2. ALLOW & STOP INTERRUPTING

• Allow sensation.
• Allow emotion.
• Allow tiredness.
• Allow activation.
• Allow movement.
• Allow stillness.

• Stop fighting.
• Stop escaping.
• Stop overriding.

3. THE BODY COMES ALIVE

• Emotions return.
• Movement returns.
• Energy moves.

Shaking, vibrating, jerking, whooshes of energy, heat, tingling, movement up the spine, neck, jaw, head, face.

4. RETRAINING HAPPENS

Through safe, repeated exposure, the ego learns:

“This is survivable.
This is safe.
The body knows what it is doing.”

5. THE ROOM BECOMES HOME

The old maps soften.

The ego relaxes.

The body is no longer feared.

The room is familiar.
Livable.
Comfortable.
A sanctuary again.

REMEMBER

• The Self is always for your highest good.
• Everything appearing in you is for your healing.
• Even when it feels like hell, the system is balancing you.
• It takes time. It takes capacity. It takes patience.
• The ego will always resist what it fears and cling to what it likes.

THE GOAL

• Not to get rid of the ego.
• But to retrain it.
• To bring it back into relationship with the Self through the body.

IN TIME…
