One of my favorite parts of the Easter story is this…
When they went back…
they didn’t meet Jesus Christ there.
The tomb was empty.
At first, it didn’t make sense.
It was confusing.
It even felt like loss.
But what looked like an ending…
was actually proof of something greater had already happened.
And honestly?
This is exactly how the journey feels when you’re starting out in tech or Salesforce.
You study.
You practice.
You apply for jobs.
You build.
You try to improve your skills.
Then you go back expecting results…
and it feels like nothing is there.
No job yet.
No recognition yet.
No big breakthrough yet.
Just… silence.

But here’s the Easter reminder for you: Just because you didn’t “meet success there” yet… doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
Sometimes, the transformation has already started —
you just haven’t seen the full result.
Just like the empty tomb wasn’t defeat…
it was evidence of resurrection.

As a beginner Salesforce Admin or Tech Admin:
That course you’re taking? It’s building you.
That project you struggled with? It’s shaping you.
That rejection email? It’s redirecting you.
That moment you feel stuck? It’s preparing you.
You may go back and feel like “nothing is there”…
But growth is happening behind the scenes.

This Easter, remember:
Your progress is not wasted
Your effort is not invisible
Your journey is not over
The fact that you’re still showing up…
means something powerful is already in motion.
Stay consistent.
Stay learning.
Stay hopeful.
Because one day, you’ll look back at this phase…
and realize:
The “empty space” you were worried about…
was actually where your breakthrough began.

International Women’s Day isn’t just a hashtag—it’s the quiet code reviews at midnight, the “sorry, I’m not interrupting” before we speak, and the stubborn joy of building anyway.*

I’ve been thinking about the women I see every day in tech who don’t show up in keynotes: the single mom debugging a production issue while her kid’s school presentation loads on a second monitor; the recent grad whose first PR gets a comment like “are you sure?” from someone who never questioned a man’s commit; the teammate who translates her ideas into softer language so they don’t sound “aggressive.” We celebrate the breakthroughs, but we forget the invisible hours spent proving we belong in the room at all.

To the woman scrolling this at 11 p.m. after a sprint demo—_I see you_. You’ve just closed three tickets, sent a polite Slack thread clarifying a spec that everyone misread (except you), and juggled a recruiter call that started with “we’re looking for a culture fit.” You probably didn’t get the credit for catching the edge case that saved the release. You probably rehearse feedback in your head so it lands “collaboratively.” And yet you still show up, pushing code, pushing boundaries, pushing back against the idea that being meticulous means you’re “bossy.”

*Here’s what I want us to own today:*

- *Our “no” is data.* Turning down that unpaid open‑source gig because you’re already overloaded isn’t selfish; it’s a boundary. It tells the ecosystem that sustainability isn’t optional.
- *Our questions are expertise.* Asking “why are we building this?” isn’t slowing the team down—it’s preventing three months of rework. The next time someone frames it as “playing devil’s advocate,” re-label it: risk assessment.
- *Our stories are infrastructure.* Every time you write a postmortem that mentions bias, every time you mentor a junior woman who’s been talked over in stand‑up, you’re laying fiber for the next person. Representation isn’t just who’s on stage—it’s who gets to stay in the game long enough to ship.

I won’t pretend this day fixes pay gaps or makes hiring panels magically equitable. What it can do—what _we_ can do—is name the pattern out loud, then keep building over it. I’m committing to three tiny things this year: amplify a woman‑led PR in my team’s channel at least once a week, ask hiring managers for the diversity slate before interviews, and stop apologizing for “taking up space” when I’m literally sharing a screen.

If you’re a woman in tech watching this, thank you for the extra compile cycles you run in your head just to exist here. If you’re an ally, listen for the gaps—who’s silent after a decision, who’s crediting herself? Pass the mic. Tag her in the thread. Make the edit.

We’re not waiting for a keynote to validate us. We’re already shipping. Today I’m just pausing to say: the debugger you’re running on your own life? It’s brilliant. Keep going.
