Wow! What a busy Summer it's been. I know that I haven't published a video in a while. I've been swamped teaching all Summer while also working on several research problems. And time to create content has been limited.
However, there are a lot of great things in the works.
First, my son and I have recorded a reaction to Alan Becker's Animation vs. Coding that I am working to edit and create animations for. That should be out this month.
I am also planning to create a video on how Utah's road system can help you understand linear algebra better.
Finally, I'm looking to create a video that gives you all a chance to get to know me better and what it's like to be a mathematics professor.
Besides long form videos, which I'll always continue to make, I want to know though what other kinds of ways you would all like to interact with me. Below are some ideas that I'm throwing around and I'm curious which one sounds the most interesting to all of you. Please vote for what you would be most likely to watch.

I got a little delayed in finishing the next "Every Type of Math Video". This one is on Algebra and I had planned for it to drop Saturday. I'm almost done with it, so it should be coming Sunday night instead.

Who Do You Think Won?
An election was held between Teddy, Abby, and Frankie, where 600 voters were asked to rank order the three candidates. Each candidate received the following number of first choice votes.
Teddy - 186 votes
Abby - 234 votes
Frankie - 180 votes
Since no one has a majority of first choice votes, we eliminated the candidate with the least: Frankie. Of those 180 voters that listed Frankie first, 120 listed Teddy second and 60 listed Abby second. Adding these second choice votes to Teddy's and Abby's totals yields the following.
Teddy - 306 votes
Abby - 294 votes
