Does anyone else get really frustrated when bigger creators use your ideas without giving ib? For instance, I changed my YouTube name to ems a few months ago, and right after I noticed someone with 3k+ followers changed her name to ems too. Fine, that’s okay, maybe she didn’t see mine and I also don’t own that name. But then, I recently noticed the same creator has the EXACT SAME profile picture as me AFTER I’ve had it for multiple months. Again, I don’t own it, Pinterest does, but it’s frustrating because I feel like I’m being copied. I don’t even know if this person has ever clicked on my channel, but still!! I also made a video a while ago about using products I think Lexi would use. I don’t know if this was a thing before I made the video, but a week later tons of huge creators came out with similar videos. In America, I made a video titled “products that make you smell like summer” and got some good likes on it!! The other day, I see another large creator with the exact same title but tagged someone else for ib. I came up with both of these myself, neither of which I own, and maybe the person she tagged saw my video… I don’t want to make assumptions but it is frustrating to not get credit for my work. Of course, I can’t know if any of these creators have ever seen my channel or videos, but if they have, I truly do not appreciate being forgotten. I deserve credit for the hours I pour into my channel.
