It was a slow grind that really shows you if you got what it takes in this ballpark but I’m happy to have finally reached 1000+ subscribers on the #ADVENTURESwithHAYES YouTube channel and looking to add thousands more! Thanks to each of you that tuned in and helped me get that much closer to my goal using this platform!

Let’s just say I’ve spent a lot of time burning my eyeballs out behind the scenes editing these videos, many nights staying up late on Google maps & doing homework on locations to visit, a lot of field study work in the forest learning how to forage for mushrooms & berries and so much more went into this journey.

WE DAMN SURE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED! As many of you know the goal is to get monetized and give the people what they truly came to see and feel through these videos & experiences. Only way to keep doing that is to keep being a WILD BOY!

Thinkin about how HARD BODY I looked walking into the emergency room with a torn Achilles and the nurses/desk clerks asked what was wrong… “I tore my Achilles I’m pretty sure” and they were looking at me all crazy…They all laughed and joked talking about

“you wouldn’t be walking if you tore your Achilles.”

“You’d need a wheelchair if you tore your Achilles”

I knew right then I was a different animal by the way they were looking at me walking right back out on my own power confirming to them I had indeed torn my Achilles. Might complain here and there cause this hit different but mentally I’m a walk this down the same way.

I had surgery, going in for post op checkup today so lookout for those updates! I’ll be doing a lot of KAYAKING & WATER activities this year!
