This is not about shaming anyone, because many of us have been in this place before. This is about accountability. What isn’t confronted often becomes repeated. Without accountability, it can be difficult to walk in true repentance. And true Repentance (confession, Turing away from it/turning to God, walking by the Spirit, renewing the mind) is what break agreement with sin and the cycles attached to it.

God desires relationship with you in every season not just when life is falling apart. Happiness may come and go, but His goal is to make you holy, mature, and rooted in Him.

Emotions can be helpful indicators, but they were never meant to lead you. A life led well is a life led by God’s truth (The Holy Spirit/The Spirit of Truth alone) . If you’re not spiritually fed, you’ll end up emotionally led.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread. The godly always give generous loans to others, and their children are a blessing.” Psalms 37:23-26

If we were enough on our own, we wouldn’t need God. He simply asks for our willingness, even in our weakness. He takes it, blesses it, and multiplies it to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think we could ever do by ourselves.

My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
