Many of you asking if we filmed this, the answer is.. kinda.
We did not secure commercial rights to film (crazy expensive at this theatre) but we have archival rights. Meaning we were able to have B-Roll of the night be taken and that includes lots of cool BTS stuff as well as key moments (like when Bob walked in and the roof blew off the theatre) But no real coverage on audio.
I’ll be putting together a BTS video for the members (as I’ve promised) but will definitely also be sharing a ton of extra footage with all of you very soon.
We wanted this first show to feel mysterious, fun and more like an experience rather than a show. It’s one of those, you had to be there moments and although we will be filming the next one in Montreal (and releasing it for free obviously) we’re going to keep striving for that in person experience to be the main focus.
These shows are not meant to give you “disclosure” or reveal some hidden truth that is being gate kept. They are about community and getting to share a magical night together with people who are passionate about this topic. And by the sound of it, it was a resounding success. Thank you.
