RIP Bobby Prince. 1945 - 2026.
We lost the original DOOM music legend on June 16.

This man laid THE groundwork for ALL that followed.

Over 30 years ago, and still standing strong today. Even if you didn’t grow up on the original games, you still hear the influence and callbacks to the start of it all, in the modern trilogy.

Bobby IS Doom music. And Wolfenstein. And more.

He lived to see his work in Doom as the third video game EVER to be inducted into the Library of Congress, National Recording Registry, for its impact.

Right alongside Super Mario Bros. and Minecraft, two gaming powerhouses.

So for that, give him your respects today, because without Bobby, we would NOT have what we do today. We would not have DOOM as we know it.

Full stop.

And those are some great shoulders to stand on, for our modern day DOOM giants.

To Bobby - They, as you, will NEVER be forgotten.
They will live on at Doom’s gate.

Eternally.

An Open Letter to Id Software:
Please release DOOM: The Dad Ages DLC.
I want it as my Father’s Day present and want to tell my wife.
If you do, I will grill you a steak (do you like medium? I have a Thermapen One meat thermometer that delivers within 0.5 degree accuracy in 1 second so i can temp it just right for you).

DOOM DLC REVEAL!!
Game directors Marty Martin and Hugo Stratton, along with Bethesda senior community manager Boshua Joyle revealed the newest surprise change on their latest stream…

Hugo: We really wanted you to FEEL the power fantasy, and earn it in this DLC.
So we traded the monster truck Slayer Atlan mechs… for a real monster truck!
