I keep getting comments saying my accuracy is off because of my trigger pull not my rear sights on my S&W Bodyguard 2.0… while I don’t deny my trigger pull needs work, this rear sight is clearly drifted left- and if I have better accuracy out of my bodyguard 1.0 with a shorter barrel, worse trigger, and smaller sights, it’s most likely not my trigger pull.

Made my @eclipseholsters6681 better after extensively carrying it… after buying several of their holsters and carrying them- I found that a wedge helped make carry better. I think Eclipse should offer the as an option. Two of the holsters I bought sat too high on my belt, and allowed the firearm to tip forward too much because more of it was above the belt. I had changed the clip to a single plastic one so I could adjust the height, and it helped, but I went back to the monoblock clip because it’s more stable, and bought some cheap wedges off eBay- a 3/4” wedge I think was what I used and it really fixed the problem. I was opposed to them, but I completely understand why they’re needed now.
Could this Ruger LCP unseat the bodyguard 1.0 as my favorite pocket pistol? Same capacity, basically the same size and weight, arguably better trigger (though it has the LCPII style half cocked hammer action), no manual safety, 5.5 lb trigger pull… the sights have a high vis green front dot but they’re not as tall as the bodyguard… The LCP in 380,I saw one I had to have it. And it’s never been fired- and it’s the enhanced model, Basically a repop of the 2018 10th anniversary edition, but mine was built in 2023

I tried various plastic ones from companies like blade tech and cytac, didn’t like them, handled other brands like Blackhawk and alien gear, and didn’t like those either. Tried a few custom molded ones from eBay , but I ended up reselling all except one brand- Eclipse Holsters.
Coupling my Kore Essentials belt with Eclipse Holsters got me exactly what I was looking for in comfort, retention, customization, warrantee, value, and customer service.
There are many brands out there, but this is what I have settled on.
My slightly modified @eclipseholsters6681 for a Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 2.0- I swapped out the metal clip for a tuckable plastic one for deeper concealment, and put a shortened modwing claw on this guy. It’s nearly perfect now :)
I want to do a video about changing my IWB carry rigs soon, just trying to figure out how to make it short enough to be interesting. Eclipse Holsters is a big part of my change.
There are lots of Holsters out there, and lots of good ones, but I think I’m standardizing on Eclipse for IWB in the future.
