I'm just not going to mention that a video is coming until I've filmed it. Like 2 months later is wild - but my day ones should kinda know how this goes - lol.
Anyway - with that being said - currently editing my Pokemon ZA video. Given where I currently am with the Pokemon franchise in general - I didn't want any raw or annoyed (for lack of a better word) energy to spill into my pov or commentary on the latest installment. Imma keep it real - but I also want to ensure that I exercise the proper nuance and context to convey how I feel about where the franchise is going.
Felt good to film again - FINALLY got a wireless mic again, which makes things less of a chore. So yeah - PokeZA vid coming late late (in the next few hours - you know my weird schedule), or tomo AM.
AFTER/SOONISH: Marvel Rivals Catch-Up and getting back to some Fighting Game Fashion.
Happy Holidays. Hope everyone is well and blessed. π
I have been super MIA in H2'25. Corporate Rollercoaster - a story for another day. Shout out to my Members who have patiently invested through my gaps.
As such - I've felt off. I knew my ongoing executive development would be a drain - but not to the extent it has.
My resolution is to get organized, get focused, and evolve. Not promising a quality overhaul of my content (I still like what I got going on) - but more so getting back on track and integrating more broader content.
I'm often a broken record until I finally achieve my threshold for a breakthrough. Affirmations until eventual manifestation. 2026 is the year of the Horse, and I wish a year of momentum, opportunity and alignment for all of us.
With that being said - posting again this week; gonna try for 2 videos.
The latest Pokemon game (even though im falling out of love with the franchise) - and maybe some latest FGC fashion highlights. I'll prob also do an unpolished talky talk video (cozy setup), cause connection isn't built without a wider range of communication.
---
A somewhat separate note on what else is claiming my time. VIDEO GAMES.
While I talk mostly about fashion - I obviously need time to actually enjoy my hobby. Love Marvel Rivals (duh) which is why I create so much content around it. But in general, I love a good MOBA (recently getting back into SMITE and Predecessor) or Roguelike game for replayability and experimentation. Once I upgrade my phone - Im 100% getting back into Wild Rift π€ͺ
Anyway - context is key. If I can write paragraphs of context for ChatGPT, I can certainly share the same level of communication with my social platform peeps.
So I've been overthinking what I want to post about next: >>> So random - but I've thought about doing some quick movie reviews, because I have lots of opinions on a few recent hits. >>> I'm kind of also in a mode where I'm revisiting/purging bits of my wardrobe over time - so kinda in the mood to talk about what's inspiring my style lately and highlight what I'm gearing up to shop for.
BUT - for now - for the sake of remaining aligned with the niche - I'm gonna talk swimsuit skins. Not saying anything more - but IYKYK. Might be micro - might be macro. We'll see. Time to celebrate some body confidence.
So - my new sched is BIZ-E! Lots more going on on my end - so much more limited bandwidth to post. π€·π½ββοΈ ---> But shoutout to my solid YT members who have been staying patient, loyal and understanding while I catch my new equilibrium.
With that - new video coming tomorrow. Tried getting it done tonight, but nah. Gonna have to wrap it and post it later. It's muuuch longer than I expected. ---> Given my tight sched, I don't have the energy to meticulously refine my commentary and analysis to super tight snippets. Gonna let y'all get more of my yap track. Which is a good thing for the engaged viewers - but potentially a drag for the folks who like to rush/skip. π
If you're looking for more content discussing fashion/style in gaming, I definitely recommending tuning into the "Game-Changing Style" podcast. I got a lovely opportunity to connect with Tracy and Fija, who actually work in the digital fashion industry and are just as passionate about this niche!
We discussed thoughts around skins, brand collaborations in gaming, and a few other related points. And in other episodes, they chat with great minds and dive into various aspects of the fashion/gaming sector of the industry.
More to come from them - including the "Fashion in Gaming Awards", which should be a cool celebration around what we love: cool fashion in video games.
So I gotta say - loving the gala energy going on with the channel lately. Special thanks to those of you who have been consistently engaging - from fictional to real-world fashion. π«Άπ½
1) Speaking of real-world - I am so THANKful for the views on the Met Gala video. It looked like it was about to flop, but the algo came through, and gave it a nice boost. >>> The highest CPM I have ever seen on this channel - I now I understand why people cover celebrities and pop culture; that's clearly where the dollars are. ----> With that, I'm 100% doing more of this type of fashion content. I've been wanting to cover more runway, pop media, and shopping anyway (if it resonates with me), so now is a decent time to keep experimenting with that.
2) With the voting for the best dressed now live in the Hellfire Gala, I have to campaign (not that I think it's needed). I was originally voting for Cloak and Dagger, because they look SOOO good. >>> But after I saw that the winner gets a new AND free costume at the 2026 HG, I just want to make sure that we're crowing our gurl Emma. ππ ----> I recently watched the Marvel Rivals team's art vision video on style and design - and I'm locked into their potential. So I'm hoping they can create something unique and marvelous for her.
So, I kinda feel like keeping the gala streak going - esp with the MR S2 HG inspo still in the air.
Even though what I tease for upcoming content curiously coincides with others' uploads from time to time, these topics shouldn't be too much of a surprise:
> Highlighting Met Gala looks that stood out to me (regardless of good or bad) ---> will be a nice break from the character focus vids > Then Fontaine Fashion (gala-ish by nature), since it technically got the second to most votes on the latest poll > Then either some more Overwatch, or picking back up on Dislyte
> Fontaine Fashion > Final Fantasy (a loose ranking) > Dislyte Epic Style > And since @playoverwatch showed ya boy some love, more skins to come . . . (which ones?)
