Turn to Jesus Christ now please. Do not let the sun go down on your anger. We need love, not hateful extremes. We need JESUS. The world desperately needs JESUS.
When violence wins, when hate wins, the enemy wins. We must not give him a foothold. Every time a life is destroyed, whether through a bullet, through slander, or through the silent approval of sin, the enemy wins. But Jesus calls us to another way, the way of peace, truth, and love.
Extremes from the left, extremes from the right are not the answer. They are the enemy’s tool. One side may rage with lawlessness and rebellion, the other with self righteousness and pride..but both are rooted in hearts that do not submit to Christ. This is not about politics, it is an issue of the heart.
When we hate our brothers, when we justify murder in the womb or hatred in our hearts, when we believe violence can bring lasting change, those things do not come from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He said plainly:
“Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.”
— 1 John 3:15
I am hurting enlight of the tragic events that took place in the U.S (the country I was raised in) like the shooting of Charlie Kirk, a brother in Christ, a child of God, are symptoms of a deeper disease, sin ruling unchecked in the heart of man. I am also hurting because of so much violence everywhere. Left or right, conservative or liberal, it doesn’t matter: without Christ, the human heart is deceitful above all things (Jeremiah 17:9). That’s why societies unravel when they drift from God. The world is in turmoil.
The answer is not to swing further into extremes. The answer is not more hate, more revenge, more canceling, or more bullets. The answer is JESUS CHRIST. Only He transforms the heart. Only He tears down dividing walls of hostility (Ephesians 2:14). Only He gives us the Spirit to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44).
Now is the time for Christians, everyone to rise above the noise of politics, to reject the extremes, and to live out the radical love and holiness of Christ. Not silence in the face of sin, but courage to speak truth in LOVE. Not compromise with evil, but compassion toward the lost. Not hate, but hope in Christ.
Turn to JESUS. Repent of the extremes. Repent of the hate. Receive His love and walk in it. The world doesn’t need more division. The world needs JESUS CHRIST—right now.
