Hey all, no EC content from me this week as I'm visiting family out of town. Seems like the both new weapons are gonna be focused around a Guild Battle that probably has side adds (ughhh 🫠). For stages 1-4, I'll probably try to brute force Odin Tifa, New Dress Support Cloud and Aerith but gotta see what the battle's gimmicks are to be sure. Check out Alchalant, Janielle, and Gmundy for content this week 👌

Probably no video tonight, been really busy with work this week and very exhausted so i'm just going to chill and get some extra rest. Cloud's new banner is pretty strong but I think if you have OB10 Osafune with Adult Seph you'll do just fine in the Damage ranking. Here's a team I quick team I put together that got me 2.6M so far.

Sorry I was MIA this past week when it came to Ever Crisis content, been very busy with IRL stuff as well as just enjoying some other games in my limited free time (Diablo 2, Resident Evil Requiem, Pokemon Pokopia). I'll have a content update video tomorrow. Btw, this guild battle was extremely overtuned for stages 5 and 6 and man.. I HATE the new sigil resistance mechanic. I was happy to at least finish strong with my last 3 hits by 1 shotting 4 and cleaning 5 and 6 (Didn't pull Angeal either).

Feeling like the general consensus is that Guild War 19 has been by far the most sadistic GB Applibot has designed yet. Just kind of insane that you can go from potentially 100%ing a Stage to doing less than 10% if you make a simple mistake or have lag/connection issues. Just isn't fun at all this time around

I was considering making a video for the upcoming Ever Crisis content but I figured that I'll just do that tomorrow night when the anniversary kicks off. How are you all feeling about the content that was announced in the live stream??

Some things I liked...
- I think Cloud's new Banner (weapon + Costume) and Ultimate Weapon look awesome! Very strong!
- The announcement of Adult Sephiroth is awesome as well and he looks extremely powerful too!
- Level Cap increased to 100 is great!
- Seems like a decent amount of content and freebies for anniversary
- New "Memoria" feature to help your parties in battle looks neat

I do have some concerns though....
- Two triple weapon limited banners is ROUGH for F2P and light spenders accounts especially if they just splurged on Dragon Quest. Two Ultimate weapons in one month (one for Cloud and Adult Seph) is INSANE as well.
- To me, the announcement of Advent Children and Adult Sephiroth feels like a "break glass in case of emergency" type of announcement so that does concern me at least a little bit about the overall health and future of the game (at least for the global servers)
- We're entering Limited banner hell again (technically it started with DQ last month), not just with anniversary but also two crossovers in November and December, FFXIII and NieR. Cool crossovers in my opinion, but my goodness if you're F2P or Light spender you're realllllly gonna have to pick and choose wisely what you pull on, especially since it seems like the game never increases the amount of blue crystals you can earn per month.
- I really feel the game needed some type of new content to shake things up for anniversary, still no mini games (gold saucer? queensblood?) or new event types, and to me that's disappointing.

Sorry if I might sound like a debbie downer lol but I do love Final Fantasy VII more than any gaming IP and I just want this game to be treated much better. Overall, I still look forward to anniversary (Advent Children is pretty hype!) and i'll continue to cover Ever Crisis because I still enjoy the game despite the issues and concerns I may have with it.
