Good day, dandelions! In my recent Cannes trip, I wore my kokoshnik to the Cannes Film Festival. People noticed, and of course, there were a lot of compliments.

A kokoshnik is a traditional Russian women's headdress, and it's been part of my identity throughout my Cannes journey.

Dandelions, pitch cards are ready for Cannes 2026!

I’m proud and slightly nervous to present my project to the world. There was a small printing hiccup that created an unexpected “halo” effect on one version (now fixed), so I ended up with two variations. Which one do you like more?

On a more serious note, this project explores difficult themes: human trafficking, violence against women, and the value of emotional labour. Yes, under a pretty layer of folklore and sci-fi, there will be food for thought. The goal is to tell a story that is both visually compelling and meaningful, told with intention and style.

Happy International Women's Day, dandelions!

Every year, we have this day as a reminder that women's rights and freedoms took a great deal of work to secure. I'm tired of this chauvinistic nonsense, so I made up a world that runs on matriarchy in my art project "Ideal Energy Winner".

Women's emotional labour is the glue that holds society together, yet it isn't valued. I'm not even saying about legally protecting it. We're going to have an interesting discussion in my upcoming comic; hopefully, you are ready for it.
