I’m out filming the full review today. If there’s anything you want to know before I finish editing, drop your questions below and I’ll try to answer them in the video.
I love this bike, but recently it’s been getting a little harder to live with mostly down to modifications I made when I first got it. So over the next couple of months I’m going to be making a few changes to improve comfort on those longer rides.
First up is this lovely new seat from Hurley Customs. This isn’t just the usual replacement top section either, it’s a proper custom job built to improve comfort while still keeping the style of the bike exactly where I want it.
It was good to get out on the Bobber yesterday, only the second time I’ve ridden it since Feb. It’s always a good place to come back to, a reminder of why I started this channel in the first place.
Ended up stopping by the River Thames for a quick stretch of the legs and just took in the views. Such a cool spot. I bet it’s rammed in the summer months.
Also dusted off the old Sony ZV-E10. It’s smaller than my other camera so I can just chuck it in my swingarm bag and grab shots like these. 🙌🏼
Fresh delivery this morning. Roads are still frozen, but first impressions are good.
I spent some time on the Scrambler 400 last year and really enjoyed it, especially as an easy, everyday bike. This XC version feels like it leans a bit more into the scrambler brief. More rugged, a bit tougher, and better suited to rough roads and lanes.
Once the roads thaw and I can actually ride it properly, I’ll share how it compares and whether the XC really is the pick of the two.

Motorbikes have a funny way of bringing the right people into your life.
Nothing special planned today. Just a ride, a stop by the river, plenty of laughs, and putting the world to rights.
Days like this remind me that some of the best parts of motorcycling happen when you get off the bike and start talking.

Not even sure why I stopped here, it just felt calm... almost frozen in time.
That's what I love about having a bike. You can pull over stretch your legs and just notice things.

If you watched my last video, you’ll have seen I went down memory lane a bit and found that spark for photography again.

After any ride, it's always good to grab a few shots.
