Some users are having trouble adjusting to the new AI voice assistant because I'm trying Google's TTS service. My AI voice assistant is VoxCPM, a free and open-source AI service developed by Tsinghua University in China. Its generated voice quality is excellent, but it's relatively slow on my Mac. I can't easily carry a desktop or a dedicated graphics card when I'm out, or buy a dedicated PC with 16GB of VRAM, since I already have a Huawei, a Mac, and two other PCs. I probably won't buy a Windows PC again. So please understand if I use Google's TTS at home. And frankly, I can't really tell the difference; I think Google's TTS and VoxCPM are about the same quality.
So I'm doing a survey to see if Google's TTS is really that bad. If it is, I'll try to avoid using it. If you just find the tone unsuitable, I can continue to try; Google offers many voice assistants.
I saw some people on Bilibili reposting my videos and translating them into Chinese. Their work is even better than my own readings of the original scripts, because I don't have time to add images to my Chinese podcast videos. Therefore, I've decided to pause my Chinese podcast and will only release videos again when I have the energy to dedicate to creating Chinese content, rather than simply reading the Chinese transcripts of my English channel using a virtual avatar.
I will be focusing more of my energy on developing my English channel. Also, to those who are reposting my videos on Bilibili: please do not alter my original meaning. Unless it's politically sensitive vocabulary, please do not change my sentences. I have no plans to create content on domestic platforms in the short term, and if I do decide to return to domestic platforms in the future, I will not pursue any past copyright issues. This disaster exposed many problems in Hong Kong. The labor unions, still using unsafe bamboo scaffolding techniques inherited from the Qing Dynasty, have formed a powerful interest group that the Hong Kong government is powerless to change. Any move that touches their interests triggers protests, which are then criticized by Western media as undemocratic and disrespectful of human rights.
Hong Kong's land area is 50% larger than Singapore's, yet large tracts of land are controlled by local farmers and developers through collusion, who hoard land for profit. Neither the Hong Kong nor the central government has the power to intervene; otherwise, protests would erupt, and the Hong Kong government would be portrayed by the West as a dictatorship seizing the people's property.
I believe the National People's Congress should urge Hong Kong to amend its laws to enforce land acquisition in Hong Kong. Alternatively, the central government could fund large-scale land reclamation, instead of being held hostage by environmental groups. Hong Kong people lack even basic human dignity; how can we talk about animal protection?
Of course, I'm just a keyboard warrior. I hope all my Hong Kong compatriots can live in spacious homes. In 2008, my sister bought a three-bedroom apartment in Hong Kong. When I visited, I felt extremely cramped, even though it was considered a very good apartment in Hong Kong. To put it bluntly, the living conditions in Hong Kong are far worse than in my hometown in northern Jiangsu, and perhaps even worse than some people's pet dogs. It's harsh, but it's the truth.

I've noticed some Muslim friends strongly support Mamdani, and I'd like to state some basic facts:
1. Mamdani is a Muslim, but he doesn't represent all Muslims; he only represents himself.
2. Americans oppress Muslims, but it's the Muslims themselves who oppress and exploit them the most.
3. Believing that politicians serve the poor is foolish and requires brain surgery.
4. A person who can't create wealth, shouting slogans about redistributing it, often only brings disaster. Marx couldn't even support his own children, yet he claimed to liberate all of humanity, triggering a series of horrific catastrophes. While he wasn't primarily responsible, this example shows that Musk's criticism of Mamdani is justified. Musk is a pragmatic entrepreneur who creates wealth and provides countless jobs, while Mamdani is a dreamer performing on TikTok.
5. What is your purpose in coming to America? Is it to defend your religion? If so, you should go to Gaza and fight Israel. If you come to America for a better life, you should integrate into American society and not destroy it.
6. There's more than just America on Earth; there's also China. If you immigrate to the United States, you must find ways to maintain its prosperity. If your DEI ruins America, causing it to lose to China in competition and decline, what is the point of your immigration? Are you just going to move to another country and continue to ruin it?
7. Why are MAGA banding together to reject immigrants? If life in America were as good as before, would they be protesting against immigration? When you immigrate to a country, that country becomes your home, and MAGA become your family. It's the MAGAs who accept you, not the other way around. Just like the Native Americans, they need MAGA to apologize for their history, return their rights, and compensate for their historical losses. They also have the right to shout for MAGA to go back to Europe, but that's not your right.
8. Poverty is not a license to speak loudly. Poverty is a state of being, a result of both innate conditions and social competition. Competition drives social progress but also creates unfairness. However, the benefits of competition outweigh the drawbacks. The poor should work hard to improve their lives, not try to steal money from the rich and redistribute it. If the government can keep taking money from the rich, who will work hard? What's the point of working hard? Just so you can have a house without paying rent and food without working?
