Welcome to Dream with Dr Sheen!
I’m Dr Sheen, a Cambridge PhD, Oxford graduate, former management consultant turned entrepreneur, and an award-winning podcaster.
This is a show about ambition, not the polished version, but the real one. The kind that builds something extraordinary and quietly changes you in the process.
On this podcast, I sit down with founders, actors, athletes, creators, executives, and global leaders for conversations that go beyond success. We talk about the pressure, the pivots, the sacrifices, and what life actually looks like after you get everything you once thought you wanted.
Because success isn’t just about making it.
It’s about what it costs.
What it gives you.
And who you become because of it.
If you’re building something, chasing something, or starting to question everything, you’re in the right place.
New episodes of Dream with Dr Sheen every Monday.
And the real, unfiltered moments in between.

There is something about Africa that always calls me back.
Some of the most meaningful moments of my life haven't happened in boardrooms or airports. They've happened watching the sunrise over endless plains, sitting in complete silence as wildlife passed by, and having conversations with people whose stories reminded me how beautiful life can be when we slow down.
Every time I leave, I return home with a different perspective. More grateful. More grounded. More present.
That's why this next experience feels so special.
I want to share that feeling with you.
This isn't about ticking another destination off your bucket list. It's about stepping away from the constant noise, reconnecting with yourself, embracing unforgettable adventures, and creating memories alongside an incredible group of people who are just as curious about the world as you are.
If you've been craving a trip that changes more than just your location, I'd love for you to come along.
The next adventure is waiting. Link in bio if you'd like to join us.

What does a week in the life of an entrepreneur actually look like?
For me, it's a blend of chasing big dreams, having fun along the way, making difficult decisions, solving unexpected problems, and learning to embrace the chaos instead of fighting it.
Entrepreneurship is often over-glamorized.
People see the freedom, flexibility, wins, and milestones. What they rarely see is what it takes to sustain what you've built.
They don't see the long hours, the difficult conversations, the constant uncertainty, or how often you have to bet on yourself when there's no proof things will work out. Sometimes, all you have is a gut feeling, relentless consistency, and an unshakable belief that your vision is worth pursuing.
If you're building a business or thinking about starting one, here are two lessons that have changed everything for me:
1. Know exactly why you're building your business.
Don't build a business because entrepreneurship looks exciting. Build it because there's a problem you genuinely care about solving. When motivation fades, your mission will keep you going.
2. Focus on the work only you can do.
You don't have to do everything. The Pareto Principle teaches us that 20% of your efforts create 80% of your results. Find that 20%, protect it, and lead it. The rest can be delegated, automated, or improved over time.
Entrepreneurship isn't about doing more. It's about doing what matters most—consistently.
If this resonates with you, or you know someone building a business, share this with them. It might be exactly what they need to hear today.

Are Independent Women Really the Problem?
A few weeks ago, I shared my own struggles with trying to live up to society’s expectations of what the “modern woman” should look like.
What happened next surprised me.
More than 60 women reached out and auditioned to share their perspectives on this topic. After careful consideration, we selected 15 incredible women, and over the past two weeks, we've been sitting down with them, listening to their stories, experiences, challenges, and beliefs.
What struck me most wasn't how different they were.
It was how deeply human their experiences were.
These women came from different backgrounds, careers, cultures, and walks of life. Yet each of them carried unique perspectives on marriage, relationships, singleness, success, fulfillment, and what it truly means to live life on their own terms.
Some of what they shared genuinely challenged my own assumptions.
Their thoughts on marriage, being single, relationships, societal pressure, and personal happiness were insightful, thought-provoking, and at times completely unexpected.
And that's exactly why these conversations matter.
We're excited to share the final project and the powerful stories that emerged from these discussions.
If you're a woman who has ever been asked, "So, when are you getting married?" more times than you can count...
If you've ever felt the weight of expectations sitting heavily on your shoulders...
If you've ever wondered whether you're somehow falling behind...
This is for you.
Because one thing became clear throughout these conversations:
You are not alone.
Someone, somewhere, understands exactly what you're feeling.
Don't internalize the pressure.
Learn from it. Challenge it. Grow through it.
And most importantly, remember that your journey doesn't need to look like anyone else's to be meaningful.
The stories are coming soon. And I can't wait for you to hear them.

I hosted my first ever Supper Club and 60 people attended.
The night was filled with joy, laughter, and conversations that stayed with you long after they ended. It was a room full of friends, family, and people we love, but more than that, it was a reminder of something we often forget in the middle of busy lives.
Community matters.
A night spent laughing is never just a night.
Moments like this bring you back to what is real. Not the noise, not the pressure, but the simple feeling of being surrounded by people who make life feel full.
And that is something we should never take for granted.
Special thanks to Harummanis for hosting us and all the amazing people that came together to make this happen!

A logo change is never just design. It is direction.
For a long time, the brand grew, but the identity stayed the same. The conversations evolved, the audience expanded, and the ambition became bigger.
That gap is where brands plateau.
So we did not ask “how do we redesign this?”
We asked “who are we now?”
After months of clarity, this is the result.
Introducing Dream with Dr Sheen.
Not just a new name, but a clearer direction for what comes next.
Special thanks to:
Shelley Zalis for helping guide the rebrand in a new direction.
Samaira Wallani for a glamming me up for the shoot.
Digitally Media for capturing the visuals behind the logo.
KnackTag Media for designing the new logo.

800,000 of you on insta… I don’t even know how to put this into words 🥹✨
What started as me just speaking into a mic, sharing thoughts, stories, and pieces of my heart… somehow turned into this. A community. My little corner of the internet. A space that feels safe, ambitious, soft, powerful all at once.
Thank you for listening, for sharing, for staying. Thank you for growing with me.
And to my incredible team and the brands who believed in me early and trusted the vision, this wouldn’t exist without you 🤍
And honestly… in a time where the world feels uncertain, heavy, and unpredictable, this reminds me that something steady still exists. Connection. Support. People showing up for each other, even through a screen.
If you’re reading this and things feel unclear right now… keep going. Your life can change in ways you can’t even imagine yet. I’m living proof of that.
We’re just getting started. 1M soon, inshallah 🤍
P.S. last slide is how I really feel behind the scenes when there’s cake involved 😭🍰

When I was at Umrah, everything made sense for once.
There was a calm clarity in that moment that reminded me how, in everyday life, so many things don’t make sense. We live with questions, confusion, and quiet struggles, often wondering how certain experiences can come from God, or how they are meant to be good for us.
And yet, the religion holds the answers. The Qur’an is filled with stories of people who faced trials that felt impossible at the time, only to later understand the wisdom behind them. The challenge is not that the solutions do not exist, but that we often search for them in the wrong places.
This Ramadan, I’m starting a new series called Make It Make Sense. A space to return to the right source, to reflect deeply, and to explore how the stories of the Qur’an connect directly to our lives today.
Sometimes faith is not about having everything figured out. It’s about knowing where to look when things stop making sense.
Ramadan Kareem to everyone reading this. May God grant you clarity, peace, and answers where you need them most.

There is a bigger threat to the entertainment industry and it is not AI. It is content creators.
At the World Government Summit, I hosted a powerful conversation around one defining question: are creators about to replace Hollywood? What we uncovered was not just surprising, it felt inevitable.
Audiences today are not just watching stories, they are watching people. Creators bring something studios cannot manufacture: trust, relatability, and direct connection. When people feel emotionally connected to a creator, they do not just consume content, they support it, follow it, and build community around it.
Creators are also winning on speed. While Hollywood moves through layers of approvals, high budgets, and long timelines, creators can create, publish, and adapt in real time. A creator can know within minutes what resonates. That agility is changing everything.
Yes, creators may have smaller budgets, but those limits are fuelling a new wave of creativity and innovation. The truth is simple. Hollywood will have to evolve.
Creators are no longer just internet personalities. They are becoming the next generation of filmmakers, storytellers, and global media businesses.
The creator economy is not coming. It is already here and accelerating faster than anyone expected.
Grateful to have hosted this conversation at the World Government Summit with Creators HQ and our incredible panelists Ammar Kandil and Ossy Marwah
Would you go to the cinema to watch a film made by your favourite creator?

Just like that, January is already over ✨
This month was filled with special moments and meaningful highlights. I had the privilege of sitting with brilliant women who are thriving boldly in their industries and truly leading the way. We spoke about the mindset shifts, decisions, and lessons that shaped their journeys.
Thank you @nori, @dr.shadezahrai.farsi and @chidiashley for sharing your stories so generously. I can’t wait for you to watch, feel seen in their words, and walk away believing more deeply in what’s possible for you too.
On the topic of incredible women, I also had the opportunity to sit on the 1 Billion Summit stage with @shelleyzalis, a moment I’m still taking in with so much gratitude.
January set the tone beautifully. Excited to see what February has in store!
