Not in this lane. Not making music and not putting out visuals.

But I love music and writing lyrics always have. I just wasn’t allowed to pursue it the way others were.

Now I’m using the tools I do have.
Produced with Suno. Bent to my will.

Not because it’s easy but because I’m determined to create something real from what I have.

This isn’t about replacing traditional artists. It’s about finding space to express ourselves without permission or a $10K studio setup.

Their struggle is valid.
So is mine.

One day I’ll collaborate with traditional producers.

Let’s Talk: AI Music, Respect, and Creative Process

AI in music can be a touchy subject, especially in spaces rooted in tradition, craft, and live performance. I want to be clear: I have deep respect for DJs and music artists who’ve been doing this work long before me. I support them the way I support all artists. I buy music, I buy art, and I’ve even hired live musicians and composers to help shape parts of my sound.

At the same time, I believe in using the tools available to tell my story honestly. That includes AI. I write my own lyrics. I guide the emotion. And I use platforms like Suno to help bring those songs to life. I’m also learning how to work with stems and eventually remix tracks that reflect my voice.

I don’t just write lyrics. I shape the vocal experience. AI is a tool I bend to my will. It’s also allowed me to write alongside virtual versions of award-winning artists, producers, and songwriters — not real people, but creative roles I assign through tools like ChatGPT to push my work further. That process helps me grow with every track. I map out how each song is delivered — the inflection, the pauses, the momentum. Even with tools like Suno, where I can’t control everything, I guide the direction. Through iteration, I’ve been able to get consistent sound elements to show up. For Aftertouch, it took 136 versions before I landed on the final 13. I also use editing tools to shape the final sound. That part isn’t random. It’s craft.

My personal mantra is this: we all have the license to use AI, but we also carry the responsibility to use it with integrity. That’s something I think about every time I create. It’s important to me that what I put out stays true to both my craft and the world I’m adding it to.

This isn’t about replacing anyone. It’s about adding something new.
