Wow, we seem to be pulling the idiots from their hiding places with my recent videos so let’s spell it out:

1. Yes, I AM an immigrant, it’s not a slur, you’re not belittling me or insulting me. I am a LEGAL immigrant coming in through the official channels.

2. Yes I AM an ex-patriot (expat). Again, not an insult, not belittling, and again here LEGALLY and through official channels.

Now the important bit for those too moronic to use a dictionary.

According to the Cambridge dictionary:

An Ex-Patriot is “someone who does not live in their own country”

An immigrant is “a person who has come to a different country in order to live there permanently”

All immigrants therefore ex-pats but not all ex-pats are immigrants.
