🇷🇴 Back in 2024 I left Manchester UK, settling down in a mountain town in Romania. For more than a year I’ve been searching for an off grid mountain property. In May 2025 we’ve found our dream land: 7 hectare of mountain paradise!
One year later, we are finally starting the renovations on 2 buildings on the property, while living in a caravan and adapting to a simpler, more raw way of life. It is not always easy, but it feels real and deeply fulfilling.
This chapter is about patience, learning as we go, building a home step by step, and embracing the quiet rhythm of the mountains where I always felt that I belong..

🆘 Help! I have an earwig infestation around the trailer. They get inside pot handles, under the kettle lid, lay eggs underneath empty pots, and even under the cutting board. If you know any tricks to get rid of them, please let me know in the comments 😵‍💫

Am o invazie de urechelnițe în jurul rulotei. Se bagă prin mânerele de la oale, sub capacul ceainicului, depun ouă sub fundul oalelor goale și chiar sub tocătorul de legume. Dacă știi vreun truc ca să scap de ele, te rog spune-mi în comentarii 😿
