We wrote this verse with the image of chains that don’t shine — they corrode quietly.
They’re made of contracts, unpaid hours, silent borders.
No rattling metal, no breaking point. Just slow rust sinking deeper into skin, year after year.
That’s the kind of slavery the world learned to ignore.
