Enjoying a Sunday morning coffee with my (unmodded) 5.5 gen iPod classic and Sennheisser ie600 iems. These are 2 classic products which sound great together.
As you can see the iPod needs a new screen and a new battery, I might go full on mod and replace the HDD (which is noisy now) with a flash mod. The DAC on this model (Wolfson DAC) has legendary status as the best sounding iPod DAC. I'm not quite sure about that TBH, but it does sound great with the ie600.
