Our Europe Christmas Markets series begins this Saturday!

Rest in peace, little Hope 🐾

We wanted to share a little update about Hope, the stray cat we helped take to the animal clinic in Koh Tao. She’s been under the care of Dr. Jae and her lovely team for the past month.

At first, things were looking a bit better. Once she got hydrated, she seemed more alert and we were all hopeful. But sadly, every time they took her off the IV, her body couldn’t retain fluids or keep food down. She just couldn’t gain the strength she needed.

Dr. Jae tried everything, but in the end, she told us that Hope wouldn’t be able to survive on her own or go back outdoors. The kindest thing to do was to let her go peacefully, without pain.

It breaks our hearts, but we’re also grateful she got to spend her last month surrounded by love and care instead of struggling on the streets. We feel really lucky to have met her and to know she felt safe and cared for at the end.

Thank you so much to everyone who sent donations and kind messages. We’ve passed them along to Dr. Jae and her team.
