Fair warning: this is a looooong message. If you watch any of my content you'll notice I haven't posted anything in months. For everyone who has watched me for some time, this is no surprise. "Crontex taking a break" is as surprising as water being wet. I could've made a statement saying that I'm "taking another break" and "wont be posting as frequent," but its so repetitive, and I hate having to constantly dissapoint people. Sometimes I just dissappear for a little and I hope that itll be overlooked, so I dont have to make the official "time to dissapoint you" statement. The fact of the matter is I just cant catch a break. Complaining about my life is not something I've ever wanted to do especially online. Sucking it up and not trauma dumping on my viewers seemed pretty ideal, but I think im running out of passes and excuses. Truth is, I want YouTube to be my career. You guys have blessed me with your love and I couldn't be more appreciative and happy that ANYONE likes what I do. The problem is that, quite bluntly, it doesn't pay bills. My wife is in college to be a Respitory therapist, and I'm proud of her every day, but bills gotta be paid and we gotta eat.
Ive had to get back to working a construction job that I had before just so I could get around 60hrs a week to support the fam. "Oh boohoo. A YouTuber crying that he has to work a real job." Yeah, so what. Can't a grown man cry in 2026 😞 All jokes aside, work has made doing YouTube difficult. That and focusing on my health through fitness and spending time with my family makes playing games and making videos about it quite a strain.
Before you ask, "Crontex, why dont you start a Patreon. People might help."
Number 1) call it pride, but I really struggle with the idea of relying on anyone, especially those who could be in a worse position than me, trying to help ME do a fun gig like YouTube
Number 2) I doubt, even if I DID swallow my pride and do it, that hardly anyone would fund it because of Number 3
Number 3) I don't think my content is all that great. I love making videos and I try to make them the best that I can, but im not some revolutionary video creator with unmatched content with a plethora of unique ideas. As much as I hate to admit it, I just make goofy shorts. I do everything on my own as well, which is difficult when im making the recording, editting, thumbnails, sound design, live stream setups, etc.
I don't ever wanna quit my dream to do this for real, but I don't know when I'll be able to pour my time into making videos for you guys. Can't lie, got me feeling super sad latley, but as the old saying goes, it is what it is.
Again, thank you guys for your love and support, amd I hope, through your patients, we will see each other again soon.
I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in over a week. No, im not "quitting," or even "taking a break." It's literally just my job. I worked 60 hours last week, and it's been pretty much the same thing this week. 14-hour work days makes it difficult to make videos. Boohoo, sad YouTuber moment. Anyways, here are pictures of my Babies, because they are why I work so much. Thank you guys for your patience. I'll be back at it soon.
We made it, boys. If you type "Sus Month" into Google, it gives you an AI overview with a perfect in-depth description. That memes Sus Month is an OFFICIAL term and has lore on GOOGLE. We made it. 🎉🎊🥂
