This Mother’s Day, I’m posting gratitude.
For a mother who sits beside her child’s bed for hours, watching every breath.
For a mother who smiles at her son, even when her heart is breaking inside.
For a mother who hasn’t had proper sleep in days but still whispers, “You’re okay, my baby.”
Right now, Adi is going through a tough phase.
But what I see every day is something even more powerful than medicines, a mother’s strength.
She tracks every report.
She notices every small change.
She asks every question to the doctors.
She holds his hand during every needle, every test, every moment of fear.
And Adi?
He is fighting because he feels safe. Because his mother is there.
This is not just motherhood.
This is courage. This is sacrifice. This is pure love.
I know this is just a phase.
Soon, Adi will be back to his cheerful self, running around, dancing, and troubling us again.
And when that happens, we will always remember,
he healed in the shadow of his mother’s love.
