Welcome Toughers! / ¡Bienvenidos Asperos!✨

For those who are just finding us, we are The Toughers. We are an "all-star" collective from Bogotá, Colombia, dedicated to reinventing the sounds of rocksteady, first-wave ska, and early reggae.

Since we formed in 2022 under the direction of Pablo "Mambe" Araoz, our journey has been incredible:

🚀 Our debut single "Abrakadabra" hit #1 on Radionica in 2023.
🎬 We toured across NYC and California in 2024.
🤝 We’ve had the honor of being the backing band for legends like Roy Ellis (Mr. Symarip) and Natty Bo.
💿 Now, we are officially rolling out our debut 12" LP, Eclipse de Soul, with Jump Up Records!

Para quienes apenas nos están conociendo, somos The Toughers (se pronuncia [DE TOFERS]). Somos un colectivo "all-star" de Bogotá, Colombia, dedicado a reinventar los sonidos del rocksteady, el ska de la vieja escuela y el early reggae.

🚀 Nuestro sencillo debut "Abrakadabra" alcanzó el puesto #1 en Radionica en 2023.
🎬 Estuvimos de tour en NYC y California en 2024
🤝 Hemos tenido el honor de ser la banda acompañante de leyendas como Roy Ellis (Mr. Symarip) y Natty Bo.
💿 ¡Y ahora estamos lanzando oficialmente nuestro primer LP de 12", Eclipse de Soul, con el sello Jump Up Records!

¡También estamos muy emocionados de ser la única banda colombiana que ha abierto shows históricos como The Skatalites, Susan Cadogan, Stranger Cole, y Rudy Mills en USA y Colombia!
