As a recovering purse addict I can admit FOMO had me in a chokehold…until I said “NO MORE!” and took my power back!!!! I enjoy writing fiction, reading fiction, journaling daily and indulging in crafts such as knitting & junk journaling (a lot) -
I still LOVE my purses (DUH!) and still "collect" but I approach things differently now... with a little restraint, even…(yeah right…🙄)

Last nights meeting was chaotic yes, but we got a lot off our chest! Some ladies are here by will, others forced by family, though many here are court mandated… Chile.
I stay away from the drama and am trying to do some soul searching. I gotta admit I’m obsessing over hand bags , ones of my past, present and future too.
Will there be future bags after this? Girl ion know!
I’m realizing so much about myself and my addiction. It’s been eye opening and more will be revealed, or so the other addicts say.
Currently I’m working on Balance and Boundaries with my sponsor. She says I’ll lose some friends, I told her the bags were my friends… she says most of those will go too! Oh my!

Things are getting pretty interesting here on Bag Ban Island. The Purse Addict Rehabilitation Center is quite beautiful and the food is pretty good as well. I’ve finally made peace with the fact that I HAVE TO BE HERE NOW- THAT MY ACTIONS BROUGHT ME HERE. Im finally getting honest…Finally.
Truth is , I have a problem and it’s deeper than handbags, according to my sponsor. And about my sponsor, she’s a tough lady, but she means well.
I have tried to connect with a few other ladies here but it’s hard. There are cliques, CLIQUES! Like high-school!!!! SMH… We are told to focus on our similarities and not our differences. I’m trying but it ain’t easy chile. Anyways -
The meetings get so crazy! Grown women sharing their stories of what brought them to this point, sharing their successes, failures , dreams and goals. Newcomers like me delight in the hugs and Well wishes, nods of approval and support from fellow purse sisters. It’s really nice. Simply beautiful -UNTIL it goes left. And girl, it always goes left…
I mean, if you put a group of die-hard purse addicts together on a remote island and strip away their credit cards, phones and handbags, then force them to address their REAL issues what do you think would happen in about a week????!!!

Glad I bought it too cause I woke up and realized my man went and froze my credit cards… I guess we all have our limits ( no pun intended) but he will be hearing from me… period.

For those of you who reached out to me before I left for The Bag Ban Island Purse Addiction Rehabilitation Center , I thank you for your kind words and encouragement!
To those asking if I paid for this with Klarna or After Pay, I went with AfterPay because Klarna sent me to collections weeks ago -so there’s that. 😞
It’s pretty strict here chile… This placed changed- new staff and everything!
Also We only get our phones a couple times per week AND all the retail and outlet sites are blocked… I Iearned the hard way that if you try to get on a restricted shopping site it sets off an alarm on the whole island!!!Girl !!!!!!!!! I was so embarrassed! They say every Newcomer makes that silly mistake their first week here.
Chile I’m so over it!
Anyways , imma go. This lady keeps asking me if I need a sponsor.
I want to say, “no lady, I need a freaking coach SA !”
But I’m going to be respectful -apparently I need a sponsor to help me not to relapse again. Or so they say.

Found myself scrolling and adding to carts late last night…All sorts of carts honey!
Lord knows I had no business on them people websites..
So I booked a flight to Bag Ban Island . My flight leaves at 8.
The addict in me like:
“Buy that straw bag on Amazon girl!”
“GET SOMETHING BEFORE YOU GO!”
and I might… cause the flesh is weak. And yes I know I said that the Elodie was my last purchase. I know.
But ,
