I think the funniest part of editing this video was realising my outfit and this wig could pull off a decent Chucky cosplay 😂🧡

Fun fact: my dad used my fear of Chucky as a tool to get me to stop sucking my thumb when I was 8. It worked… for two years then I watched “seed of Chucky” and found the whole movie kinda goofy and somewhat endearing? So I went back to sucking my thumb again 😂😂😂

It took a ton of willpower to stop that habit but I got it done 🙂‍↕️

A new skill has entered the villa!

Over the course of my hibernation, I was picking up nail art to elevate my cosplays! I already did a nail course in the beginning of 2025 but since I’m forever changing my mind or quickly moving onto other things, I found the idea of specialising in acrylic or poly gel nails a bit too permanent for my liking! 🤣

Luckily, I’m always collecting random things and happened to purchase false nails on a whim a few months ago. I also own a ton of different nail polish because I like to switch up my nail colour on a whim and thought “today is the day I finally make my very first press on nails”

I came out the door swinging and started off with an Ateez inspired nail set (first frame) and I attached the process to my Ichigo nails! If you guys want to see how my cosplay turned out while I edit my long form video, you can head over to the shorts section!

29 years old!

What an incredibly feeling it is to age! I know we are taught to fear aging but as someone who didn’t think I would make it past 18, to turn 29 and be given a new day to try again despite… everything? 🥹

It feels good and I won’t take that for granted! To another year around the sun 🥳🙌🏾 and to the next 364 days on earth! We got this! ❤️

I got an invite to watch “Scream 7” and since I didn’t know a single thing about the scream franchise, I decided to take a look at the movie that started it all - Scream (1996).

The opening sequence had me LOCKED IN 🙂‍↕️ the escalation sequence had me on the edge of the seat! So much so, when I was done watching movie, I thought I would be able to pay homage to Casey Becker played by Drew Barrymore 🤭

So I made a wig, bought a cute shirt and had a lot of fun using fake blood to make my cosplay come to life!

Kinda did something new but nerve wrecking but new but scary but but but...

I'M OFFICIALLY ON STEAM!

do I have the slightest clue what steam is? A place to download games. Could I have explained that a bit better? Absolutely!

My friend asked me to join steam a few years ago and never did it because I forgot about it... Until now (I literally created my account 30 minutes ago 🤣 🤣 🤣) but I'm excited to try out steam and maybe give streaming a chance to make up for the breaks I take in between videos (my videos take long because making props takes a lot of time 🙈). Let me know what free game I should try out first! (I don't have a console, so any game you suggest should be a mobile game 🥹 🙏🏾)

Hey guys, so I gave you guys an update regarding my bleach cosplay and you can check that video out on my YouTube shorts when you have time! 🥹✌🏾

I wanted to ask something kinda silly but kinda important:
Should I change my YouTube name?

I've been calling myself Straw Hat Afro on tiktok and I've really grown to like the name but I'm also attached to "Boku No Afro" because it is something I felt suited me at the time and I find it endearing but I also want to try out different names. My handle will still stay as bokunoafro, so it is easier to find me on YouTube and Instagram but I'm caught between changing my name and not changing it, so let me know your thoughts on the matter!
