Funny how I always know what to say when someone is hurting.

I know how to comfort people.
I know how to listen.
I know how to stay.

But when it comes to me, there's no one.

I had someone before.
Someone who made me feel heard.
Someone who stayed long enough for me to think they'd always be there.

Now they're gone.

And the worst part isn't being alone.
It's remembering what it felt like not to be.

So now I keep everything to myself.
Not because I want to, but because I've learned that not everyone stays the way they promised they would.

I still check on people.
I still care.

I just stopped expecting the same in return.

In this universe, I probably ain't reaching 1K.
Maybe not 900 either.

No big milestones.
No viral edits.
No crazy recognition.

Just me posting,
refreshing my page every 5 minutes,
pretending I don't care about the numbers when I clearly do.

Lowkey hurts watching everyone grow while I'm stuck in the same place.
Seeing people hit goals I once thought I'd reach too.

But yk what?

Maybe this account was never meant to be huge.
Maybe it's just a collection of late-night edits, random memories, and pieces of me.

So if I never reach 1K...
if I never reach 900...

At least I can say I tried.

And honestly?
