Update on my "stroller hands" issueโฆ and yes, you were right. ๐๐งค
A few weeks ago I was complaining that my hands were getting more sun exposure than the rest of my body during stroller walks, and I said: "Before anyone says wear glovesโฆ absolutely not."
Wellโฆ here we are. ๐
After trying to reapply SPF constantly, I finally gave in and got these lightweight UV gloves.
And honestly? They're kind of genius.
Motherhood continues to humble me daily because apparently I now have strong opinions about hand SPF and stroller accessories. ๐
To everyone who recommended gloves on my original post: you win. ๐ฉต
Now I'm curiousโฆ what unexpected "mom hack" completely changed your daily routine? lmk in the comments ๐ฌ๐ฉต

Okay, time for a skincare girlie dilemmaโฆ and this one is HARD. ๐
If you could only keep TWO of these categories for the rest of your life, which one would you let go of: makeup, skincare, or supplements? โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
You guys already know my answer: Iโll always be a skincare girlie first. โจ For me, healthy, happy skin makes everything else easier. When my skin feels good, I feel good.
That said, I also love the idea that beauty isnโt just about what we put on our skin, itโs about the habits we build, the things we nourish our bodies with, and the little rituals that make us feel our best. ๐ฉต
So now Iโm curiousโฆ whatโs your priority?
Would you rather invest in:
๐ Products that give instant results?
๐งด Products that support your skin long-term?
๐ Products that work from the inside out?
There are no wrong answers, but lmk in the comments, I'm curious to what is your MVP ๐ฌ๐๐ผ

Hey Beauties! ๐ฉต So, I finally took the plunge and tried a lash lift and tint for the very first time. I wanted that effortless, naturally enhanced look because my natural lashes are super straight and refuse to stay up. Safe to say... it didn't exactly go to plan. ๐
Here is what happened:
The Color Miscommunication: I specifically asked for a soft, natural brown because I explicitly wanted to avoid the harsh, heavy "mascara look". Instead, the tech used a dark brown that processed completely black.
The Uneven Lift: Because my lashes are naturally so stubborn and straight, they require a really precise, strong lift. Looking closely at my right eye, it feels like the inner half barely got lifted at all, leaving them looking completely asymmetrical.
The Aftermath: They felt super heavy and over-processed right out of the salon, so I actually ended up gently washing them a bit later in the day just to soften the chemical residue and ease the tension.
Itโs definitely a learning experience for my first time, but I'm curious if any of you beauties have faced the same thing...? ๐ฌ๐๐ผ

Most people know Vitamin C is for brightening, but when is the best time to apply it to get the most "support" out of its antioxidant powers? ๐

Vitamin C is one of those ingredients that seems simpleโฆ until you realize everyone uses it differently. ๐๐
Over the years, I've learned that how you apply an ingredient can sometimes make just as much difference as the ingredient itself.
For me, consistency has always beaten complexity. I'd rather have a simple routine I actually stick to every morning than a 12-step routine I only do twice a week. ๐
One thing I've noticed is that people often focus on finding the "best" Vitamin C serum, but forget about the basics:
๐ Applying enough product
๐ Giving it time to absorb
๐ Being consistent for months, not days
๐ Wearing SPF every single morning
The last one is probably the most important. Vitamin C and sunscreen are honestly one of my favorite skincare pairings because they work so beautifully together.
Also, just because this is my personal routine doesn't mean it's the only correct way. Skincare is so individual, and what works best often depends on your skin type, tolerance, and the specific product you're using.
I'm curious though...
What's your relationship with Vitamin C? ๐ค
Do you swear by it, or have you never really noticed a difference?

Okay but can we talk about how random this photo dump is? ๐
One minute I'm in a lab learning about ingredients and longevity, the next I'm doing a sheet mask in bed, carrying around my emotional support anime plushie, eating a millefeuille the size of a small apartment, and then rushing home because I miss my family.
I feel like this perfectly sums up my personality at this point: equal parts skincare nerd, foodie, homebody, and someone who gets way too excited about new ingredient discoveries. ๐ค
The older I get, the more I realize beauty isn't just about products. It's also about experiences, relationships, laughter, feeling confident in your skin, and occasionally ordering the dessert even when you're already full. ๐
One thing I loved about this trip was seeing how many different things inspire me. A conversation at dinner. A new ingredient. Great lighting in a hotel room. A makeup look that actually survives a long day. Inspiration really is everywhere when you're paying attention.
And yes... despite loving every minute of it, the best part was still getting back home to my little family. It's funny how quickly your definition of "home" changes after becoming a parent. ๐ฅน
Also... should I post more lifestyle/photo dump content like this on here? Or do you mainly come for the skincare and beauty content? ๐ฌ

One thing nobody really prepares you for postpartum is how much recovery continues long after the baby arrives. ๐ค
I think before becoming a mom, I assumed that once pregnancy was over, my body would slowly return to "normal."
But postpartum has taught me that healing, rebuilding, and replenishing takes time.
Between breastfeeding, interrupted sleep, hormone shifts, and simply caring for a tiny human, I've become much more intentional about supporting my body from the inside out.
Do I think supplements are magic? No.
But I do think they can help fill nutritional gaps during a season where your body is giving so much of itself every single day.
The biggest lesson I've learned postpartum is that self-care isn't always face masks and spa days.
Sometimes self-care looks like:
๐ค Remembering to take your supplements
๐ค Drinking enough water
๐ค Eating enough protein
๐ค Getting outside for 10 minutes
๐ค Accepting that recovery isn't linear
And honestly? I'm still learning that taking care of myself isn't selfish, it's part of taking care of my family too.
To all the moms in this community: what helped YOU feel your best postpartum? I'd love to hear your experiences. ๐๐ผ๐ฌ
