Not every Disney vacation starts perfectly.

When we arrived at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, we ran into an unexpected room issue that led to a room change.

The silver lining?

We got to tour two different Yacht Club rooms, experience Disney’s guest recovery process firsthand, and spend the afternoon enjoying StormAlong Bay with family.

Most people visit Old San Juan for the colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and historic forts.

And honestly? That’s a great place to start.

But during our recent Old San Juan Tour with Myriam and Jossie from Aventuras Yuiza, we discovered that some of the most fascinating parts of the city aren’t the landmarks themselves.

They’re the stories behind them.

From hidden crypts beneath historic churches and centuries of military history to local businesses like Materia Prima and Montadero Chocolate, this experience completely changed the way we see Old San Juan.

This is NOT Soarin’ Over California returning. Disney created an entirely new version celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with updated scenes, new music, immersive effects, and iconic locations across the United States.
