Real estate in Nigeria is not just about buying land, it’s about buyingpeace of mind. And that only comes when you ask the right questions and also get the right answers.
📌 Right documents matters more than hype:
A fine location means nothing if the documentation is shaky. Always verify your documents, Deed of Conveyance, Registered Survey Plan, Cof O, Gazette, Excision... know what you’re getting into.
📌 Cheap can be sometimes expensive:
That “good deal” might come with future problems,land disputes, government issues, or hidden charges. I kid you not. Ask WHY it’s cheaper than the actual value of land in that axis.
📌 Inspection is not optional:
Videos are great, but stepping on that land hits differently. You really need to see with your bare eyes or viewed by a trusted person. See the environment, access roads, and development around it.
📌 Understand what you’re paying for:
Documentation, survey, development levy... don’t just pay, Understand.
📌 Location is not just about today
Think growth. Where will this area be in 2–5 years? Ask the right questions regarding the growth of that area.
At the end of the day, real estate is not a gamble it’s a calculated move.
And the smartest investors?
They don’t just rush in… they ask the right questions, verify, and move in boldly.
