🤍🏛️ Channel memberships are now live
A little while ago, I asked whether people would be interested in a membership programme for this channel.
Since then, I’ve thought about it more, and I’ve realised that I don’t want to put the core information behind a paywall. AI is becoming one of the most important forces shaping work, education, creativity, institutions, and everyday life. I want these conversations to remain accessible to everyone.
So the main videos will stay free. Memberships are simply a way to support the work, if you want to and are able to. The same goes for Ko-fi. No pressure, and no feeling that you are missing the “real” content if you don’t join.
From time to time, I may use memberships for things like topic polls, question posts, or letting members vote on a future video idea. But I don’t want to promise a rigid weekly format, because there are so many AI topics that feel urgent, consequential, and worth covering.
A small practical note: Ko-fi is the most direct way to support the channel, while YouTube memberships are convenient if you prefer supporting through YouTube. I’m completely fine with whichever option people prefer.
The main thing is simple: The videos stay free. Membership helps make that possible.

I am genuinely loving making videos for this channel. 🤍 Every topic feels exciting to explore, and I feel completely in my element here. Thank you so much for watching, commenting, and giving this new channel your attention - it means a lot.
I wanted to share two upcoming topics I’m thinking about:
1. AI and the job market - Companies fired people expecting huge AI productivity gains… but are they actually seeing those benefits? And if AI destroys some jobs, what new jobs might it create?
2. AI in education - How can schools and universities respond to AI without simply pretending it doesn’t exist? And what does it mean if AI starts weakening the actual learning process?
I’m also thinking of starting a membership programme for this channel.
My current idea is this: members would get a weekly question post where you can ask questions and upvote other people’s questions. Then each week, I’d make a members-only video answering the top 5–10 questions, depending on time.

Wow, I’d never made a 30-minute video before, so I wasn’t sure how it would land. But you all seem to be loving the new drop!
I really enjoyed making this AI deep dive, and I’m delighted to see so many of you are open to longer, deeper explanations of what’s happening beneath the AI hype.
So yes, we’ll keep this format going. Not every video will be this long, but I’d love to do more proper deep dives when the topic deserves it. 🏛️
