Sridevi Nrithyalaya

Sridevi Nrithyalaya is a Bharatanatyam institution based in Chennai that firmly believes in its motto - NATYAM MOKSHA SADHANAM. With reverence to the art and gratitude to all the Rasikas, the institute has successfully been running for 36 years. Alongside traditional performance and teaching methods, SDN uses YouTube and social media as a medium to edify and entertain the masses with this divine artform.

Each student is trained towards perfection, giving individual attention in the class, nurturing a close relationship with the teacher. Under the able guidance of Dr. Sheela Unnikrishnan, the teachers of the Nrithyalaya take absolute care to ensure that the training period in this institute is an experience of learning dance with joy.

In Sridevi Nrithyalaya, the students are taught to pursue the art as a 'Tapas', parallelly inculcating in them qualities such as inner strength, willpower, empathy etc.
