"My happiness is found in the grit of the trail and the grace of the brush."

I am an artist and adventurer. For 33 years, I've been in pursuit of a single question: Is it possible for a modern human to paint with the mastery? I’ve treated my life as a research project in "Good Art."

As a Global Artist-in-Residence, I go to the source. I’ve biked Europe, paddled the rivers of Lewis & Clark, studied Ukiyo-e in Japan, and read every ancient text on art practice. I’ve explored 3/4 of the world’s greatest museums—from Russia to Australia—to study the DNA of masterpieces in stone, oil, acrylic, gouache, and watercolor.

Park Paintings is a "Slow Cinema" sanctuary; a respite from the busy streets; a window into the stillness of the backcountry.

Join the expedition for:

The Master’s Path: Technical field-work informed by 33 years of study.
The World as a Studio: From back country cathedrals to silent museum galleries.
Reverent Silence: No noise. Just the wind and the stroke of the brush.
