We live off grid in Norway, on a small farm. Here we try to grow our own food and be self-sufficient in every way. We get help plowing up the soil from woolly pigs and old north sheep helps with forestry and scrub eating. As far as possible, all plants and animals have a function, and we are constantly working to increase the degree of good ecological interaction.
We make videos of our daily life with plants and animals, and small and large projects. We are not trained in agriculture, but we love to learn and enjoy everything we discover/stumble upon along the way.

The most beautiful adventure of the year is now over 🥰🐑
We welcomed 13 absolutely beautiful, healthy little lambs, and thankfully everything is going well with both mothers and babies 😊
We did have a few small challenges along the way this year too. There was another triplet birth that needed a bit of extra attention, a couple of lambs that needed some help being delivered, and our very first breech birth. Thankfully it all turned out well in the end, and we are feeling very relieved and grateful ❤️
Now we’re looking forward to putting together some video from this lambing season to share with you😊
(It may take a few days because we are quite behind on planting and everything else on the farm,.. but the video will come as soon as possible❤️)

After losing Kira 💔 our Flat-Coated Retriever and Border Collie mix, we hoped that the experience had to mean something.
That there was something to learn from loving her, and from losing her.
We didn’t know what that was.
Until now.
A little black puppy suddenly needed a new home, after a tragic death.
A mix of Flat-Coated Retriever and Standard Poodle. He looks completely like a baby Kira.
Our hearts said yes ❤️
So now we have a baby 😅🐾
We also want to say a wholehearted thank you to all of you 🤍
for the many kind messages, thoughtful advice, suggestions, and for sharing your own beautiful dog stories with us.❤️
We have learned so much from you, and it has helped us realise that maybe a puppy is something we can manage after all.
And that it can be a good and right choice.

Wild and Woolly
Our tiny YouTube channel has grown steadily over the past 17 months we've been at it. I’ve (Siv) discovered that I really enjoy making videos and have gradually dared to let loose a bit more, even though I absolutely can’t speak English well or feel comfortable in front of the camera. Søren is super supportive and helps out more behind the scenes, but sometimes joins in on joint projects. Thanks to all of you, Wild and Woolly met the minimum requirements for monetization a month ago—over 1,000 followers and 4,000 watch hours. We're now earning money from our new hobby, which is a great help to our small economy. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us through the start of the channel; we hope you’ll continue with us on this journey. We’ll keep making videos with hopefully increasing quality, and I’m also trying to improve my English 😅 Stay safe out there in YouTube land—and thank you so much for every minute watched, thumbs up, and comment ❤️ love from Søren and Siv

Hello everyone out there🙂 We are thinking of making a small video where we talk a bit about how we try and create this channel from our homestead off grid here in the North. If you have any questions, we would be grateful if you would write a comment here🙂
