Original handhelds we're showcasing games on ranging from the Nintendo Switch OLED or Valve Steam Deck all the way back to consoles like the Nintendo Game Boy, Sega Game Gear or even Nokia N-Gage.
To cover some non-handheld consoles, we take advantage of modern clone consoles for things like SNES.

Hey'all, Sco... uh I mean. Hi there :) (CHANNEL UPDATE)
My game launched and other things for September and October are approaching.
And I more and more are happy to get "back to work" on Handheld Gameplayer!
So I'll continue the channel in mid-to-end October, for now with its old format (just pure gameplay without commentary). BUT, I'll record every console that isn't a handheld (Playstation, N64, and so on) on my CRT and put my hands somehow in the image, because I really want to show the state of "this is how it looked on original hardware" with my channel.
So ya, really looking forward to test and showcase some games :)

Another channel update! I'm preparing everything to widen the term "handheld" quite a bit. Well, what can I say, I'm a sucker for retro gaming on certain consoles, AND I'm a sucker for all tactile things. So naturally I fell into the lightgun rabbit hole a while ago and just have upgraded that particular field of gaming for my nerd-cave quite a bit in the last days.
So ya,... expect some lightgun footage in the future! Of course, filmed directly off of a CRT, without any commentary and probably wearing gloves... because channel signature style and whatnot haha.

Hey you lovely people! I just wanted to give an update on what's happening here.
So I've just completed a big bunch of projects and deadlined tasks I needed to take care of, one of which was the prototype of my second GBC game in development, and wrapping up the launch of my first GBC game, which will physically be released in July.
This is also the next video you can expect to see here... shameless self-advertising (as I usually really don't do. But I'll make an exception this time, hehe).
I only have one other big project coming after the launch of my first game: my wedding, which will be in September.
So I don't actively plan to get videos flowing on this channel before October/November.
I've already planned some videos in a new, shorter format. Same recording style and without commentary as always though.
That's the news I got for you and for anyone finding my channel and wondering what's about to happen.

All videos will stay free for everyone, since I'm not a big fan of hiding my stuff behind a paywall. Not everyone has the extra money to spare and that's ok!
I'll come up with other things to add value for channel members in the next upcoming weeks/months.
