Hi there!
I’m Jolmer from The Netherlands (Europe), born in 1978 and a huge aviation enthusiast!
I started flying R/C model airplanes back in 2006 (still do) and progressed as a sports pilot in 2008.
Where a lot of aviation channels on YouTube focus on General Aviation at the west side of the Atlantic, my channel focuses on Light Sport Aviation in Europe, primarily Holland and Germany. Light Sport Aircraft are also known as Microlight Aircraft or Ultralight Aircraft over here.
The reason I make these videos is to exchange aviation stories, to learn and improve by sharing and to inspire others!

And then 'all of a sudden' I passed the Flight Instructor exam, together with Kevin! 👍🏻 We're Netherlands' newest Recreational Flight Instructors (RFI) 😎

Yesterday evening around 6:40 pm, I was back from my trip to Hradec Králové (Czech Republic), to visit TL Ultralight ✈
The complete distance of the round trip was 1,667 km (or 900 NM) and took about 10 hours and 45 minutes. Thanks TL Ultralight for all the help and hospitality! 👍🏻 It was a fantastic adventure! 😎

She's whole again! ✈ After doing a very thorough inspection and service on my airplane the last couple days, TL Ultralight finished all the work.
Tomorrow we'll head back to The Netherlands again, covering a total distance of about 800 km. And yes, that trip, together with the work on my plane and the exclusive tour of the TL Ultralight factory, will be featured on the next couple episodes.

Tomorrow me and a pilot friend of mine will embark on a new flying and vlogging adventure; we're flying to TL Ultralight HQ in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic.
There are several missions intertwined with each other, being an airframe inspection, shooting video's for my channel, doing some mods on my aircraft and overall having a blast flying around Europe.
