Millions Gather at Mount Arafat for Holiest Day of Hajj

Thousands of Muslim pilgrims climbed Mount Arafat at sunrise to mark the Day of Arafah — the most sacred and emotional moment of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Drone footage captured breathtaking scenes as worshippers gathered around the hill known as the “Mountain of Mercy,” where Prophet Muhammad is believed to have delivered his final sermon.

The Day of Arafah is considered the spiritual peak of Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam, which every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it is required to perform at least once in their lifetime.

Held in Saudi Arabia, Hajj remains one of the world’s largest religious gatherings, uniting millions of pilgrims from across the globe in prayer, reflection, and devotion.

Trump Pushes Pakistan & Middle East Countries to Recognize Israel Before Iran Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump says a future agreement with Iran should be tied to a sweeping expansion of the Abraham Accords, calling for several Muslim-majority countries to normalize relations with Israel.

In a lengthy Truth Social post, Trump said he told the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates that signing onto the Abraham Accords should become “mandatory” once a deal with Iran is finalized.

Trump described the potential agreement as a historic opportunity to unite the Middle East economically and politically, saying the region could become “Powerful and Economically Strong like perhaps no other area in the world.”

He specifically urged Saudi Arabia and Qatar to begin the “immediate signing” process, while suggesting that countries refusing to join would show “bad intention.”

Trump also floated the idea of Iran itself eventually becoming part of the Abraham Accords framework, calling it “something special” if Tehran signs a peace agreement with Washington.

The Abraham Accords currently include the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan, and were originally brokered during Trump’s first term in office.
