Two new paintings for your viewing pleasure.
My camera is a bit tricky and added dark/blackish color that I don't use. Hopefully my learning to create depth is observable in these paintings.
Water mixable oils on canvas pad and linen.

One more tiny color study. Tiny but my learning objective was to put a lot of paint on it. I do not use a lot of paint resulting in scratchy paintings. Here I decided to put all the paints from the palette to the canvas. A bit better paint application. I did not care for composition, brushwork, or edges, etc. Just thick juicy paint on the canvas.

New Video Title: Baroreceptors: A Primer on Blood Pressure Regulation
Video link: https://youtu.be/juhnuJAZji8?si=WAdB0...
This video explains baroreceptors and blood pressure regulation, covering how the body uses the baroreceptor reflex to maintain stable blood pressure π«π. Learn the location, structure, and function of stretch baroreceptors, the role of the carotid sinus, and how afferent and efferent neural pathways regulate both high and low blood pressure.
π― Learning Objectives:
1. Short-term regulation mechanisms of blood pressure β‘π
2. Location of baroreceptors ππ«
3. Structure of stretch baroreceptors π§¬π«
4. Structure of carotid sinus π§ π«
5. Afferent and efferent fibres of baroreceptors ππ§
6. Regulation of increased blood pressure by baroreceptors ππ‘οΈ
7. Regulation of decreased blood pressure ππ©Ί

Video title: Factors Affecting Passive Pulmonary Circuit
Video link: https://youtu.be/_iyLjgA18xo
This video explains the factors affecting the passive pulmonary circuit, a core concept in pulmonary and cardiovascular physiology ππ©Έ.
You will learn the unique dynamics of pulmonary circulation, why pulmonary vessels behave as a passive, low-resistance system, and how changes in blood flow lead to vessel recruitment rather than pressure rise.
π― Learning Objectives (Only Emojis Added)
1. Dynamics of the pulmonary circulation π«π
2. Factors affecting passive pulmonary resistance ππ©Έ
3. Recruitment phenomenon of pulmonary circuit π«β
4. Difference between pulmonary and systemic vasculature to blood pressure changes βοΈπ«

New Video Title: Pulmonary Vessels: Metabolic and Reservoir Function
Video link: https://youtu.be/ypTGNhb2EI4?si=toGN7...
This video provides a complete and clinically relevant explanation of pulmonary vessels, focusing on their reservoir, metabolic, and filtration functions within the cardiovascular and respiratory systems βοΈ.
You will learn the unique properties of the pulmonary vasculature, how pulmonary vessels act as a low-pressure, high-compliance reservoir, and how they play a critical metabolic role by modifying circulating substances such as angiotensin, bradykinin, and prostaglandins.
π― Learning Objectives
1. Properties of pulmonary vasculature π«π
2. Pulmonary vessels as reservoir π«π©Έ
3. Metabolic function of lungs βοΈπ«
4. Filtration function of pulmonary vasculature π§Ήπ«
5. Difference between pulmonary and systemic vascular system βοΈπ«

New Video Title: Coronary Blood Flow Regulation
This video is part of the Blood Flow Regulation Series and covers one of the most important and clinically relevant topics in cardiovascular physiology β Coronary Blood Flow Regulationβ³β€οΈ.
You will learn the unique properties of coronary circulation, including why coronary arteries fill predominantly during diastole rather than systole. We explain how myocardial compression, oxygen extraction, and blood flow rates determine the heartβs oxygen supply.
π― Learning Objectives
1. Properties of coronary circulation π«π
2. Coronary filling during diastole β³β€οΈ
3. Oxygen extraction ratio of the heart and dependence on blood flow rates π«π©Έ
4. Extrinsic and intrinsic control of coronary blood flow βοΈπ«
5. Effect of atherosclerosis on heart vessels π«π©Ί
6. Volume vs pressure work in coronary circulation ππ
