The Lionsteel m1 in m390 fixed blade is surprisingly portable fixed blade that can fit inside your pocket. Even if the sheath has a belt loop for belt carry? It can sit perfectly inside your pocket.

It comes with a lanyard with titanium bead that can be hang out from your pocket for easy picking it out.

The blade itself and the profile while boasting the Bohler m390 is a top notch for EDC task. Even act as a bushcraft knife it can do it. Either use it primarily? Or as a back up knife.

Handles i choose for this is the g10 scales. Why g10? It can take a beating, all harsh elements or weather it should be fine. Grip and ergonomics are excellent even if i am a XL glove size hands. Any grip profile can work on it. Regular, reverse, ice pick grip.

So to sum things up? If you do longing for a EDC size fixed blade with a premium steel and a beautiful leather sheath? For its price point? A Lionsteel M1 m390 is a excellent choice.

Outdoor, EDC, hunting, fishing, bushcraft. It is there for you to tackle those task 👌🤝

EDC gear that i Use the most and trust their capabilities, quality and price point!
“I dedicated also this post for those who love to read or might have Hearing problems”

Will be uploading a 4th day experience of the new TRIVISA hornet 04g in green micarta. I was blown by this knife, not just for its price tag! But there is no compromise on the quality as far as i started carrying it and using it as a Daily beater tool! (I am not sponsored of any brand/company) this is my real as it gets no BS assessment review i can put it.

So if you like reading a post? Here is some what you will expect on the TRIVISA

PACKAGING is outstanding even the contents inside. Stickers, manual(included in the manual are what angle the blade you should resharpen it) micro fibre cleaning cloth, micro fibre pouch can act as a cleaning cloth too.

Now let’s go straight to the knife itself
My initial thoughts of this under 50 bucks (2.5k in our currency) i am expecting that this is just a gimmick company or knife! But damn! Il tell you frankly? It feels and performs like 125-130 bucks knife!

To start off? The handle it is a real micarta scales in Od green that is very grippy and can accommodate those who have sweaty palms like i do!

Inside the scale you can see the stainless steel skeletonized inlined also in black coated DLC. And those REVERSIBLE deep pocket carry clip! Also in black DLC coated! And held up by 2pcs torx screws T6 and there bolts/torx screws are high quality and symmetrical. Most of the time you see knives in this price point? Uses poor quality screws to accomodate its price. But TRIVISA did not compromise it in this knife!

BLADE: 58-60hrc 14c28n sanvik steel
Now the fun part, the blade itself, the crossbar/axis lock. Right out the box? It is so damn smooth or even loose i should say. So i have to turn the t8 torx pivot screw clockwise to match my nitpicking taste (as i notice it has a very very minimal side to side play right out of the box) after that? The lock up is excellent and feels like a fixed blade “on my perso preference because i carry a small fixed blade on my EDC”

The ceramic ball bearing on the blade it reminds me of the Coldsteel AD demnko shark lock. If you hold on to the cross bar lock? And try to swivel it back and forth? It swings freely and no noticeable “squeaking” sound. That is how smooth the pivot ceramic bearing is. Mind you that Cold steel cost higher than this TRIVISA hornet!

ERGONOMICS:
Il keep this short. I love the ergonomics either for utility cuts, EDC tasks, cutting ropes, fabrics, food prep, packages. I did not encounter any hotspots even on the pocket clip area vs on my different knives that i handled and more expensive than this!

So what are my expectations on this further more? I will update if how long the omega springs on the crossbar/axis lock will hold up! Because on my personal experience? Due to nonstop fidgeting on my former benchmade bugout and a boot leg of it? Both omega springs broken in a estimate of between 2000-3000 reps before it snaps.

So my final verdict rating as of 4th day of carrying this and using and did not resharpen

5 is the highest and 1 is the lowest

PRICE POINT: 5

PACKAGING AND CONTENTS: 5

WEIGHT AND BALANCE: 4.0 (balance is kind of 60-65% on the handle side

BUILD QUALITY: 5 ( for this pricepoint? It’s a no brainer!)

BLADE STEEL QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE: 4.5

That sums it up!

So do i recommend this knife? Definitely! It is a no brainer to not have this knife!

That is all data for now and will see how the omega springs hold up 👌 (today is 4th day and estimated i fidget for around 200-300 times)
